Analog HD-TVI recorder that can handle up to 8 analog or HD-TVI cameras.
Which signals and cameras can be connected
The DVR supports multiple video inputs: analog (HDTVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS) and IP cameras.
You can connect up to 12 IP cameras over the network (depending on configuration).
Recording, compression and decoding
The DVR uses H.265 Pro+ and other modern compression formats to save storage space without sacrificing too much image quality.
It can record at higher resolutions depending on the camera signals – e.g. 5MP, 4MP and 3K in “Lite” mode.
For playback it can play back all 8 channels simultaneously (synchronized playback).
Storage and backup
The DVR has one SATA bay for a hard drive, which can be up to 10 TB in capacity.
Hikvision ensures the face picture library is not lost even if the hard drive fails – the data is backed up in flash memory.
Human and vehicle detection
The DVR can distinguish between people, vehicles and other moving objects in front of the camera. That means it only alerts you when, for example, a person enters the area or a car passes by – and not when leaves fall, an animal moves, or light and shadows change.

Helt oplagt så betyder antallet af kameraer, og deres opløsning meget - men din konfiguration, og hvor meget der sker foran kameraet, har også en betydning.
Udgangspunktet er, at man hellere skal optage en time for meget end et minut for lidt. Omvendt gider normalt kun nordmænd lave videoer, der viser at græsset gror.
