Backup Battery for BlackVue Car Cameras
The BlackVue B-130A is an external battery that powers your car camera when the engine is off. This means the camera can keep recording in parking mode for many hours without draining your car’s own battery. It’s perfect if you want full surveillance of your car – even at night or when it’s parked for longer periods.
Long Runtime and Fast Charging
The battery can power parking surveillance for up to about 30 hours with a single camera connected – slightly less if you use both front and rear cameras. When you start driving again, the battery recharges quickly: around 50 minutes if hardwired to the car’s fuse box, or about 90 minutes via the cigarette lighter socket.
Protects Your Car Battery
With the B-130A, you avoid draining your car’s battery because the dashcam draws power directly from the external battery when the car is off. When the engine starts, it automatically switches to charging the battery.
Monitoring via App
You can check the battery status directly in the BlackVue app on your phone. Here you can see how much power is left, how long the camera can keep recording, and whether the battery is fully charged.
Easy Installation
The B-130A works in both passenger cars and vans, as it supports both 12 V and 24 V systems. It can be connected via the car’s fuse box for fast charging or through the cigarette lighter for simpler installation.
Extra USB Port
There’s also a USB port on the battery, so you can charge your phone or another small device while the car is parked.
