Backup Battery for BlackVue car cameras
The BlackVue B-130A is an external battery that powers your car camera when the engine is off. That means the camera can keep recording in parking mode for many hours without draining the vehicle's own battery. It's great if you want full monitoring of your car — also at night or when it's parked for longer periods.
Long runtime and fast charging
The battery can power parking mode recording for up to around 30 hours with a single camera connected — a bit less if you use both front and rear cameras. When you start driving again, the battery charges quickly: about 50 minutes if it's fixed to the vehicle's fuse box, or about 90 minutes via the cigarette lighter socket.
Protects the vehicle's battery
With the B-130A you avoid draining the car's battery because the dashcam draws power from the external battery when the vehicle is off. When the engine starts, it automatically switches to charging the battery.
Safe battery technology
The BlackVue B-130A uses Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries instead of traditional lithium-ion. That means higher safety, as the technology is more resistant to overheating and reduces the risk of fire. At the same time, LiFePO₄ has a longer lifespan with more charge cycles, making the battery a stable and reliable solution for daily use. The capacity is 12.8 V / 7,500 mAh / 96 Wh, which ensures many hours of operation in parking mode.
Monitoring via app
You can view the battery status directly in the BlackVue app on your phone. There you can check how much power is left, how long the camera can record, and whether the battery is fully charged.
Easy installation
The B-130A can be used in both cars and vans, as it works with both 12 V and 24 V systems. It can be connected via the vehicle's fuse box for fast charging or via the cigarette lighter for a simpler installation.
Extra USB port
There is also a USB port on the battery, so you can charge your phone or another small device while the car is parked.
