Here you'll find ready-made network cables with RJ45 connectors on both ends. The cables are ready to use and require no tools or connector installation.

A ready-made network cable can be used, for example, between a surveillance camera and a PoE switch or recorder. It can also be used to connect a router, computer, game console, Smart TV, or other network devices.

Choose the length and colour that best suits your installation.

Which length should I choose?

Measure the entire cable route—not just the direct distance between the two devices. Remember to allow for corners, cable trays, and routing along walls.

We recommend choosing a cable that is slightly longer than the measured distance. This gives you enough slack to connect and move the equipment without putting strain on the cable.

For short connections in a rack or between a switch and a recorder, a cable between 0.25 and 2 metres is often suitable. For cameras and equipment located further away, choose one of the longer lengths.

Standard or shielded network cable?

A standard unshielded network cable is suitable for most home and small business installations.

A shielded network cable provides extra protection against electrical interference. It is a good choice for equipment cabinets or installations where the cable runs close to many other cables or electrical equipment.

If you're unsure, a standard CAT6 network cable is usually the simplest choice.

Network cable for PoE cameras

Many surveillance cameras use PoE (Power over Ethernet). This means that both power and network connectivity are carried through the same network cable.

If the cable will be used for a PoE camera, choose a cable that is specified as suitable for PoE. For long cable runs, cable quality and conductor material are especially important.

Will the cable be used outdoors?

A standard indoor network cable should not be permanently installed outdoors. Sunlight, moisture, and changing temperatures can eventually damage the cable jacket.

If the cable needs to be installed outdoors, choose a network cable that is specifically rated for outdoor use and UV resistance.

If you need cable without pre-installed connectors for a permanent installation, see our installation cables on reels.
