Strømmen til kameraet leveres gennem netværkskablet fra enten...
- en optager med indbygget PoE, også kaldet NVR. Et typisk valg for installationer op til og med 8 kameraer.
- en PoE-switch. Populært fortalt en fordelerdåse til netværkskabler. Det typiske valg på store installationer eller hvis man ønsker fleksibel kabelføring.
- en PoE-injector. Kan kun levere strøm til et kamera.
Af samme grund følger der ikke strømforsyning med PoE-kameraer. Du kan bestille en klassisk strømforsyning her, hvis du ikke ønsker at benytte PoE.

Ajax TurretCam is a modern IP surveillance camera. It combines advanced object recognition, high image quality and user-friendly configuration in one design. The camera is suitable for both private and commercial use and is equipped with NDAA-compliant hardware for maximum security.
Advanced object recognition
The camera distinguishes between people, vehicles and pets, so you only receive relevant footage and alerts. This reduces false alarms and minimizes bandwidth and storage usage.
Smart IR and night shots
Traditional infrared (IR) cameras can often overexpose people or objects that come close. Smart IR technology automatically adjusts the brightness so that both near and far objects remain clear - without overexposed or washed-out images.
- Automatic IR adjustment ensures sharp details of faces and vehicles.
- True WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) balances dark and light areas for optimal image quality in night shots.
Secure and fast video streaming (JetSparrow technology)
The camera delivers stable streaming without lag, as the video is transmitted directly without intermediaries. When you access live view, the video starts immediately and runs without any stutter. The camera itself handles the compression of the video, so it takes up the least amount of space possible - all without compromising on image quality.
Built-in microphone
The camera has a built-in microphone and therefore records both image and sound. You can hear the sound in real time or play it back from recordings.
Data security and privacy
The camera is GDPR compliant and complies with EU data protection regulations with data storage on EU-located servers. Secure, password-free access is implemented via mTLS encryption. With Privacy Zones, you can create masked areas in the image to protect privacy. All video recordings are digitally signed to prevent unauthorized changes.
IP65 and IK08 approved
The camera is IP65 rated, which means it is dustproof and protected against water splashes from all directions.
- Dustproof (6): Complete protection against dust.
- Water protection (5): Resistant to water splashes from all directions.
- Impact resistance (IK08): Resistant to shocks and impacts with a force of up to 5 joules - withstands moderate impacts, but is not vandal-proof.
Power over Ethernet
