Our models from Uniview, Bosch and Axis are NDAA compliant (National Defense Authorization Act).
This means that the equipment are trusted to be used in critical infrastructure in the US.

Power over Ethernet

Do like the professionals. POE means that only one cable is needed for the camera. The camera gets power through the network cable, typically from a recorder with built-in PoE, or from a POE switch.

ONVIF full member

Univiews cameras and recorders support the ONVIF protocol. This means that they can be mixed with equipment from other brands as long as they also support ONVIF.

PTZ

Stands for Pan, Tilt and Zoom and means the camera can turn right and left, up and down and zoom in to get the best pictures.
You can control it from your mobile, computer or even a joystick. The camera can also be set to constantly patrol between fixed points.

Dual Lens

Two cameras in one.
One lens is fixed and ensures that you never loose the overview while the other lens zooms in on the detail.

Autotracking

PTZ cameras may have built-in intelligence and keep an eye for you. If something happens that the camera assesses is interesting, it will immediately zoom in and follow the object.

Den professionelle måde at levere strøm, til et PoE-kamera, er gennem netværkskablet.

På den måde behøver man kun at trække et enkelt kabel til hvert kamera - og skal ikke døje med 230V og små strømforsyninger.

Strømmen til kameraet leveres gennem netværkskablet fra enten...

  • en optager med indbygget PoE, også kaldet NVR. Et typisk valg for installationer op til og med 8 kameraer.
  • en PoE-switch. Populært fortalt en fordelerdåse til netværkskabler. Det typiske valg på store installationer eller hvis man ønsker fleksibel kabelføring.
  • en PoE-injector. Kan kun levere strøm til et kamera.

Af samme grund følger der ikke strømforsyning med PoE-kameraer. Du kan bestille en klassisk strømforsyning her, hvis du ikke ønsker at benytte PoE.
