- en optager med indbygget PoE, også kaldet NVR. Et typisk valg for installationer op til og med 8 kameraer.
- en PoE-switch. Populært fortalt en fordelerdåse til netværkskabler. Det typiske valg på store installationer eller hvis man ønsker fleksibel kabelføring.
- en PoE-injector. Kan kun levere strøm til et kamera.
Af samme grund følger der ikke strømforsyning med PoE-kameraer. Du kan bestille en klassisk strømforsyning her, hvis du ikke ønsker at benytte PoE.
The license plate camera for everything
This camera is perfect for all types of tasks that require efficient registration of license plates and even reaction to some or selected license plates. Most cameras fail when reading license plates at night, as they simply get a white "bar" at the license plate. Uniview's ANPG camera is designed to avoid exactly this, so you can count on good images of license plates day and night.
Should I choose 2.8-12mm or 8-32mm?
Whether you should choose one lens or the other depends on the distance to the point where the license plate needs to be read. Here you can see approximate distances
- If the distance is about 3-15 meters, choose 2.8-12mm.
- If the distance is about 10-50 meters, you should choose 8-32mm?
These distances are approximate but try to stay away from the maximum distances.
White light or IR?
In addition to choosing the lens, you also need to choose whether the camera should have IR illumination or white light. It is important that you choose the right light, as the two different light sources have two very different advantages. The light is only on when it is too dark and it turns on automatically.
- If you choose IR (infrared) light, you get a very discreet license plate system and the license plate will be read perfectly in the dark. You will only be able to see the license plate when it is dark. The rest of the image will be quite dark. Therefore, we recommend an additional camera to be mounted next to it for general surveillance in the dark.
- If you need colors on your car, consider white light. Just be aware that the light is VERY bright and can dazzle the driver.
Control barriers, gates, traffic lights, etc.
The camera has a built-in relay that can be used to control a lot of different things that can be

You can easily connect the equipment directly to the camera, but if you connect the camera to an NVR, you can even control the relays in the recorder or, via the recorder, the relays in another camera.
Reaction to license plates
The camera can react to license plates in different categories and have different reactions in different scenarios
- Approved license plate (white-list)
- Blacklisted license plate
- Unknown license plate
- All cars
The reaction may then be
- Pull relay in camera
- Pull relay in NVR
- Pull relay in second camera (requires NVR)
- Send notification
- Send email
- Start recording
- etc.
Today, the price of a license plate camera (also known as ANPG ) is so affordable that anyone can join in. The camera has all the built-in analysis you need to get started, so you are not dependent on anything other than the camera, an SD card and power. The camera can of course be easily connected to a hard disk recorder.
When a car passes a defined point on the road, the license plate is read and stored in a database. All registered license plates can then be searched.
An approved, blacklisted or unknown license plate can also trigger a different reaction, such as a push message, email with image or opening a port.
