The latest in thermal cameras are bi-spectrum cameras. These are cameras that practically consist of two cameras in one. They have both a visual lens and a thermal lens, and a separate image sensor for each lens. This means that you have both a "normal" visual image and a thermal image. The images can be displayed individually or on top of each other as "picture in picture".
