The cameras are sleek and discreet. If they are triggered to deter intruders, that discretion disappears. The advanced recorder can be expanded to a total of 8 surveillance cameras and is packed with smart features.
These security cameras are professional quality, full of analytics, and with their 5MP resolution can scan areas in complete darkness with IR — then switch to warm light and color images when they detect a person off course.

Human and vehicle detection
With the camera’s built-in analytics, it can tell the difference between people and vehicles. You can therefore choose whether you want regular motion-triggered recordings — which can include trees and bushes moving in the wind — or only recordings that contain people and vehicles. You can even set how large or small objects must be to be detected. That means you can define how close to a target it must be to be captured.
A cool and fairly unique feature of this camera is the ability to configure exactly the setup you want in the same camera. Infrared night vision, which is invisible to the human eye, or white light that gives you vivid color images at night — you decide.
But it gets even better: the camera can run with its invisible (IR) night vision at night so it neither reveals its position nor disturbs neighbors. When a person or vehicle enters your property (or a marked area) it switches to white light.
That gives three great benefits to your security solution
- You get color on the subject, so it’s not just a gray figure getting out of a gray car, but a range of shades that can be extremely valuable in an investigation.
- The person will most likely look up at the camera when the bright light turns on, as it’s a natural reaction and increases the chance of a good facial image.
- There is a strong deterrent effect when the camera signals and indicates it is reacting to the event.
Remember, this can be combined with push notifications to your phone or a signal sent to a relay, etc.
Built-in microphone and speaker
The camera almost lets you be present without actually being there. The built-in microphone can record all sounds around the camera and even be used to listen live. This feature gives a great option to assess whether something is happening outside the camera’s field of view, and it also has high investigative value — you might even capture accents or names on the recordings.
The built-in speaker also adds value. It can play some of the included sound files, such as a siren, and you can upload your own messages and audio files if you prefer. You can even speak through the camera directly from your smartphone. The speaker is 1 watt, so it’s not extremely loud, but it’s perfectly audible.
An APP that actually works
The app is super simple and user-friendly. Directly from the app you can add and change rules like intrusion and line-crossing. Of course you can also view live and rewind.
The layout is designed to be easy to use.

With the Uniview app you can easily monitor from your PC or Mac. The user interface is very user-friendly, making it easy to view live, rewind and export files.
Powerful NVR recorder with room to grow
The recorder, NVR501-08B-P8, has built-in PoE so it supplies both power and network to the cameras via a single cable. It can handle up to 8 cameras in total, so you can later expand with four extra cameras. With its strong processor it can also handle decoding multiple cameras simultaneously.
We can program it for you
A big advantage of the system is that we can configure it remotely. That means you can do the physical installation yourself, or have an electrician run the cables — and then we can handle programming the system via computer afterwards. That way you avoid the cost of a technician visit and are sure your system works correctly.
