Human and vehicle detection (AcuSense)

Even though the camera is intelligent, it still needs input from you. Once the camera is mounted, you can choose from several types of smart events:

Intrusion Detection: Here a square is drawn in the image. When a target moves into the square and stays longer than allowed (1-10 seconds), your reaction is triggered.

Line crossing: Detects when a target moves across the line you have drawn. It can be detected in both directions or just one way. For example, the function can be used on one-way roads, where an alarm is given when driving against the direction of travel, or in a driveway, where you only get a notification when you arrive and not when you leave.

What is a reaction? A reaction is the event that is triggered when a rule is violated. Depending on the camera model, there are different options. The most commonly used reactions are:

• Push notification on your mobile phone (you will be sent a picture directly to your phone of the goal that has broken the rule, with a link to live playback in the app).
• Send email (should be used with caution as email providers may close your account on suspicion of spam if too many images are sent).
• Flashing with white light.
• Warning sound (siren or voice warning - there is also the option to record your own messages).

Hybrid function - color reproduction at night or when moving

The hybrid function is particularly effective because the camera does not need to have the white light on constantly.

You can choose whether the light should be on all the time, or whether the camera should record in black and white and only turn on the light when it detects movement. The camera delivers excellent color images, even in total darkness.

Motorized PTRZ (TechnicianPTRZ)

PTRZ (Motorized Pan/Tilt/Rotate) allows you to remotely control the camera's angle during installation and subsequent adjustment.

The camera can pan (0°-350°), tilt (0°-85°), rotate (0°-350°) and zoom. This makes installation simple as the camera simply needs to be mounted and the direction and viewing angle can be adjusted from the computer.

Note: PTRZ is only intended for camera setup and not for continuous use as the function has a limit of 1,000 movements.

Built-in strobe light, microphone and speaker

The camera has a built-in strobe light, microphone and speaker. You can set the strobe light to flash if someone crosses a defined line, for example. The microphone allows you to listen to or record audio. Via the speaker, you can communicate directly through the camera – both with live speech and pre-recorded audio files.

Support for pre-recorded audio files:

• Built-in speaker: The camera has a built-in speaker that can play pre-recorded audio files.
• Uploading audio files: Via the camera's configuration menu (through the web interface or software such as iVMS-4200) you can upload audio files in compatible formats such as MP3 or WAV.
• When do audio files make sense? Audio files can be used as part of the camera's alarm events , for example, when a perimeter is violated. It is possible to use audio files to warn with a personalized message, for example, "Access prohibited!" or "You are being recorded".
• Activation: The audio files can be activated automatically through event detection (such as line crossing or movement) or manually via mobile app or control software.

IP66 rated

The camera is IP66 rated. This means that it can withstand both wind and weather and can be mounted both indoors and outdoors.

• Dustproof (6): Full protection against dust.
• Waterproof against powerful water jets (6): Withstands powerful water jets from all directions.

Supports microSD cards

The camera supports microSD cards up to 512 GB. Memory cards can be purchased here .

Power over Ethernet

Do as the pros do. PoE means that only 1 cable needs to be run to the camera. The camera is powered through the network cable, typically from a recorder with built-in PoE, or from a PoE switch.

ANR

Avoid losing recordings with Automatic Network Replenishment .
If there are network problems, the camera stores the recordings on an SD card - and then sends them to the recorder when the connection is stable again.

Face Capture

Can register and save faces for later review and search, so you can have all faces that have been registered over a selected period displayed, like a kind of criminal album.
