Overview and PTZ camera in one solution

Hikvision DS-2SE7C432MW-AEB(14F1)(P3) has two separate camera channels. The fixed camera channel keeps watch over a wide area, while the PTZ camera can pan, tilt, and zoom in on whatever you want to look at more closely.

This is especially useful in large areas where you want to maintain the overall overview, even when the PTZ camera is zoomed in in another direction.

Fixed camera with a wide overview

The fixed camera channel has a 4 mm lens with a 79° horizontal field of view. It delivers up to 4 MP resolution and works as the camera’s fixed overview of the area.

The fixed channel also has white light with a range of up to 30 meters.

32x optical zoom

The PTZ camera has 32x optical zoom and a lens from 5.9 to 188.8 mm. This makes it possible to move from a wider overview to a very narrow view of details far away.

Because this is optical zoom, the lens physically changes focal length, so you can get closer to the subject without just enlarging the image digitally.

DarkFighter for low light

The PTZ camera uses Hikvision’s DarkFighter technology and is designed to deliver a good and clear image, even when there isn’t much light.

When it gets dark, the PTZ channel has IR illumination with a range of up to 200 meters.

Automatic tracking

The PTZ camera supports automatic tracking and can follow a detected target as it moves through the area. Manual tracking, tracking takeover, and the ability to follow targets in turn are also supported.

This makes the functions especially relevant in larger areas where activity can move over longer distances.

Face Capture

The PTZ channel supports Face Capture for detecting and capturing faces. The fixed camera channel does not support Face Capture.

Face Capture is not the same as facial recognition. The stated datasheet does not describe comparing faces with a database of known persons.

Smart analytics on both camera channels

Both the fixed channel and the PTZ channel support line crossing, intrusion into an area, and activity detection in and out of defined areas, among other functions.

This makes it possible to set up the camera to react to specific events rather than only reacting to ordinary motion.

White warning light and sound

The camera supports a white flashing light and sound warning in connection with an alarm. For example, this can be used to make people in the area aware that an event has been detected.

360° PTZ monitoring

The PTZ camera can pan 360° and tilt from -15° to 90°. Up to 300 presets can be saved, and the camera also supports patrols and automatic movement patterns, among other things.

Power-off Memory allows the camera to remember its position and status after a power outage.

Good image in difficult lighting conditions

The camera is designed for areas where lighting conditions can change a lot. Features such as WDR, HLC, BLC, 3D noise reduction, and Defog help maintain a usable image in situations such as strong backlight, dark areas, or fog.

Supports SD cards

The camera has space for microSD, microSDHC, or microSDXC cards up to 256 GB. This makes local recording directly in the camera possible.

It also supports network storage and ANR for use with a compatible recorder.

External audio and alarm

The camera has one audio input and one audio output for connecting external audio equipment. The datasheet does not state a built-in microphone.

In addition, there are 2 alarm inputs and 1 alarm output for integration with other equipment.

Outdoor use

The camera is IP66 rated and intended for outdoor surveillance. The housing is also IK10 rated, except for the glass window.

It can operate at temperatures from -30 °C to 65 °C and has glass heating for defogging.

Power via Hi-PoE

The camera can be powered with 24 V AC or Hi-PoE. With compatible Hi-PoE equipment, power and network connection can be carried through the same network cable.

Power over Ethernet

Do like the professionals. POE means that only one cable is needed for the camera. The camera gets power through the network cable, typically from a recorder with built-in PoE, or from a POE switch.

Audio Trigger

Univiews cameras with microphone can also respond to what they don't see. For example, it can be cries or screaming on a women's toilet if you place the camera outside the door.

PTZ

Stands for Pan, Tilt and Zoom and means the camera can turn right and left, up and down and zoom in to get the best pictures.
You can control it from your mobile, computer or even a joystick. The camera can also be set to constantly patrol between fixed points.

Dual Lens

Two cameras in one.
One lens is fixed and ensures that you never loose the overview while the other lens zooms in on the detail.

Autotracking

PTZ cameras may have built-in intelligence and keep an eye for you. If something happens that the camera assesses is interesting, it will immediately zoom in and follow the object.

ANR

Avoid losing recordings with AutomaticNetwork R eplenishment.
If there are network problems, the camera stores the recordings on an SD- card - and then sends them to the recorder when the connection is stable again.
