Which VCA rules can you choose?

The camera has all the well-known VCA rules, including line-crossing and intrusion detection, and it also offers autotracking, people flow counting and crowd density. The last two functions are about counting people passing through an area and counting how many people are present in an area. This camera has all these cool features and it's pretty impressive for the price. Be aware that you should select one of the rules above to use. You can always switch between rules as you like, but only one can be active at a time.

What is a PTZ camera?

PTZ stands for Pan, Tilt and Zoom — in plain language it means the camera can be rotated and controlled electronically because it has small built-in motors. The camera can be controlled directly from the recorder with a mouse or joystick, from a computer, tablet or phone. Many PTZ cameras can also run patrols and patterns based on a schedule or a signal from an alarm system, etc.

What is autotracking?

Autotracking is when a PTZ camera automatically starts following a target in an attempt to get the best shots and reduce blind spots. Autotracking is a widely used feature across industries today because it has a strong preventive effect on offenders and at the same time can provide the best possible images. Power over Ethernet

Uniview's cameras and recorders support the ONVIF protocol. That means they can be mixed with equipment from other brands, as long as those also support ONVIF.

PTZ

Stands for Pan, Tilt, Zoom and means the camera can turn left and right, up and down and zoom in to get the best images.
You can control it from your mobile, computer or even a joystick. The camera can also be set to constantly patrol between fixed points.
