About the camera
The camera is designed for large areas where a good overview must not compromise on the image quality. Therefore, they have made a camera with several lenses, each at 4K (8MP) and fused the image together into a large one. However, you can, if you want, make separate streams so you get 4 separate images as we show in the first image below.
The camera can be supplied with PoE (power via network cable) or fixed power (power supply not included)
Separate streams: 1 camera with 4 lenses = 4 images
Combined streams: 1 camera with 4 lenses = 1 merged image
About the assembly:
The camera weighs 3.5 kg and is mounted in the same way as PTZ, ie. that you can mount with brackets on the wall, ceiling, eaves, corner, mast etc. Be sure to buy fittings, as it is not included. If you are in doubt about which bracket to choose, look in the accessories tab or contact our support at support@ipcam-shop.dk .
Den professionelle måde at levere strøm, til et PoE-kamera, er gennem netværkskablet.
På den måde behøver man kun at trække et enkelt kabel til hvert kamera - og skal ikke døje med 230V og små strømforsyninger.
Strømmen til kameraet leveres gennem netværkskablet fra enten...
- en optager med indbygget PoE, også kaldet NVR. Et typisk valg for installationer op til og med 8 kameraer.
- en PoE-switch. Populært fortalt en fordelerdåse til netværkskabler. Det typiske valg på store installationer eller hvis man ønsker fleksibel kabelføring.
- en PoE-injector. Kan kun levere strøm til et kamera.
Af samme grund følger der ikke strømforsyning med PoE-kameraer. Du kan bestille en klassisk strømforsyning her, hvis du ikke ønsker at benytte PoE.
