Who is Uniview?
Uniview, also known as UNV, is one of the absolute largest manufacturers of surveillance and absolutely the largest manufacturer of NDAA-compliant equipment, which you can read more about in the next section. UNV focuses on making quality equipment at a reasonable price.
Why Uniview?
Uniview is a well-known and respected manufacturer of electronic fuses, and together with the other largest manufacturers, they are helping to create the future in fuses. They have made many cool strokes of genius over time. Among other things, they have made a camera which is a hybrid between the very popular cameras with human/vehicle registration and 24/7 color. They have also created a WiFi system, where each camera functions as an independent Access Point and amplifier, so that the cameras can extend the distance between the next camera and the recorder. If you want to see more about UNV, visit our showroom. You can even book an appointment with an expert who can help you find just the right thing.
Is Uniview easy to install?
Yes! Uniview is quite easy to install and there are even small installation instructions for all the products. Set up the equipment, turn on the power, download the APP and follow the guide. If you have something else you'd rather spend your time on, you should know that we can help you with the programming, so you just power up the system, have the computer ready and call us, and we'll handle the rest. We call that "hire-a-technician" and you actually get 20 minutes for free when you order Uniview products, so we're sure you'll get off to a good start.
"You always come across things that surprise or tease and if you can't find the answer in our YouTube guides or in the manual, just call us and we'll help you!" Christian, Technician
Does Uniview have an APP?
Yes! They actually have three APPs for their monitoring products, which are in continuous development. You can actually make many smart settings directly in the APP, such as setting up VCA rules (linecross, intrusion etc.). They have an APP for both Android and iPhone/iPad. They also have programs for boats Windows and Mac. It is free.
- EZView
- EZLive
- EZControl
Which program do I use for the computer?
If you want to see your monitoring on the computer, you must use the program called EZStation. It is a free program that can operate all your cameras around the world.
You can download:
- EZStation
- EZWall
- EZAccess

Does Uniview meet "NDAA Compliance"?
Yes! They have a large program of NDAA devices.
For many Danes, NDAA compliance is a city in Russia, but it is appearing more and more, especially in our industry and especially after the American government has come out and said that it only deals with companies that use NDAA equipment. The NDAA stands for National Defense Authorization Act. Several large American companies have therefore followed suit and make this a requirement for their suppliers. All IT and cybersecurity experts in DK know the NDAA very well.
In practical terms, this means that if a Danish company wants to do business with the American authorities and their business partners (and companies that enforce the NDAA), they must not include "non-compliant" equipment in their IT infrastructure. Then you have e.g. a switch, router, server, camera etc. from the NDAA banned manufacturers, it must be replaced.
NDAA banned manufacturers: ZTE, Huawei, Hikvision, Hytera & Dahua as well as, subsidiaries and all their OEM products.
Is Uniview OEM?
