Alarm cable for smaller alarm tasks
This 4-core alarm cable is suitable for common alarm installations in the home, garage, small commercial premises or hobby projects. The cable is typically used to connect sensors such as magnetic contacts, PIR detectors, sirens or control panels in wired alarm systems.
It has 4 conductors and can also be used for many other purposes.
For hobby and smaller installations
The cable is a sensible choice for installations where power consumption is low and where shielding requirements are not critical. It’s easy to work with and flexible to pull through conduits, along panels or hidden in walls.
If the installation demands higher performance — e.g. in noisy environments, industrial areas or where you want maximum operational reliability — we instead recommend a professional alarm cable with shielding. For ordinary, private alarm tasks, however, this cable performs flawlessly.
Construction and use
The alarm cable consists of several insulated conductors gathered in a white, flexible PVC jacket, making it easy to adapt the installation. The number of conductors is chosen according to need – e.g. for tamper circuits, multiple sensors or extended connections in the same cable run.
Meter markings on the cable
There are meter markings on the cable for every metre, so you can easily see how much has been used and how much remains on the reel.
