BlackVue SAFY Hardwire Kit is used to connect a SAFY dashcam directly to the car’s fuse box instead of using a regular power connection in the cabin. It provides a more permanent installation and also supplies power for the camera’s Parking Mode, so the dashcam can be used for monitoring when the car is parked.

Direct power connection for BlackVue SAFY dashcam
With the SAFY Hardwire Kit, your dashcam gets power directly from the car’s electrical system. That means the installation can be made more discreet, since you don’t need to run a power cable to a regular power outlet in the cabin.
The kit is also designed to ensure the power supply that the SAFY dashcam needs.
Use Parking Mode
One of the main reasons to use a hardwire kit is the option to use the dashcam’s Parking Mode.
When the camera is permanently connected to the car’s power supply, it can keep receiving power when the car is parked. In this way, the SAFY dashcam can use its supported functions for monitoring while parked.
Connects to the car’s fuse box
The hardwire kit connects directly to the car’s fuse box. This provides a permanent power connection and makes it possible to route the cables more discreetly through the vehicle.
Four of the most common types of fuse adapters are included: Micro2, Mini, LPM and ATO. Each type comes with a 5 A fuse, so the kit can be used with the fuse box in many different cars and vans.
From 12-30 V to stable 5 V
The SAFY Hardwire Kit can be connected to an input voltage of 12-30 V from the vehicle and converts the voltage to stable 5 V DC for the dashcam.
This means the kit can be used in both standard 12 V vehicles and many vehicles with a 24 V electrical system.
Only for BlackVue SAFY dashcams
The hardwire kit is developed specifically for the BlackVue SAFY series.
Please note that it is not compatible with regular BlackVue dashcams. If you have a BlackVue camera from another series, you must use the power connection that matches that specific model.
