Blackvue ELITE 8 1CH is a modern front camera that combines continuous recording while driving with advanced parking monitoring. The camera is equipped with the latest Sony STARVIS 2 image sensor and is designed for high image quality, low power consumption and stable operation.
It's a great choice if you want a simple yet very effective dashcam without a rear camera.
Continuous recording while driving
The camera works like a classic dashcam when you drive and starts recording automatically when the car is turned on. Recordings are saved in a loop, so the oldest files are automatically overwritten when the memory card is full.
If an incident is detected while driving, the recording is automatically saved as a protected file that won't be overwritten.

Records in high quality
The front camera records in 2K QHD (2560 x 1440), giving significantly more detail than regular Full HD. Sony's STARVIS 2 sensor is developed specifically for surveillance and dashcams and delivers clear, low-noise images even in poor lighting.

Built-in GPS and Wi-Fi
The camera has built-in GPS and Wi-Fi, making it easy to access and manage your recordings.
Via Wi-Fi you can connect the camera directly to the BlackVue app on your phone or computer to view live feed, download videos and change settings without removing the memory card.
GPS logs both route and speed, so you can always see where an event took place.
Parking monitoring
When the car is turned off, the camera can automatically switch to parking mode. It watches over the car and starts recording if motion or an impact is detected.
You can choose between three parking modes depending on your needs and desired power usage.
Parking mode requires a hardwire connection. If activity has been detected around the car, you'll get a voice notification when you start the car again.

Extremely low power use in parking mode
In power-saving parking mode the camera uses very little power, making it suitable for long-term parking without draining the car battery unnecessarily. The camera also has built-in protection against low voltage and overheating.
Easy to operate
The camera has a touch sensor that lets you quickly start a manual recording. There's also a power button and LED indicators that show recording, GPS and cloud connection status.
You’ll be warned if it’s not recording
The camera monitors the memory card's condition and alerts you if errors occur. It can automatically restart at set intervals to ensure stable operation, and important recordings are protected from being overwritten.
Power and connection
The camera connects using three wires: GND (ground), B+ (constant power) and ACC (ignition). It supports both 12V and 24V, so it can be used in cars and vans.
A supercapacitor is used instead of a battery, which gives better durability at high temperatures.
Cloud-compatible with LTE module
With BlackVue Cloud you can view live images, receive event notifications and access recordings directly from your phone.
The feature requires purchase and connection of a separate LTE module.
App and software
The BlackVue app can be used on both Android and iOS for live viewing, downloading recordings and changing settings. The camera can also be managed from a PC or Mac.
The software supports Chrome and Safari.
