- en optager med indbygget PoE, også kaldet NVR. Et typisk valg for installationer op til og med 8 kameraer.
- en PoE-switch. Populært fortalt en fordelerdåse til netværkskabler. Det typiske valg på store installationer eller hvis man ønsker fleksibel kabelføring.
- en PoE-injector. Kan kun levere strøm til et kamera.

Explosion-proof PTZ camera for hazardous and regulated areas
DS-2DF4420-DX is a professional network camera designed for use in explosive environments such as oil and gas facilities, chemical plants, port areas and offshore installations.
The camera is manufactured in 316L stainless steel and is certified to both ATEX and IECEx, making it approved for use in Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21 and Zone 22.
ATEX and IECEx certified explosion protection
The camera is certified for use in areas with explosive gases and combustible dust. Its construction ensures the camera cannot ignite the surroundings, neither from electrical components nor from surface temperature.

Advanced video analytics on the camera
The camera includes built-in analytics where all image processing happens directly on the device. That means it can analyze motion, patterns and events on its own without relying on a recorder.
This provides faster response since data doesn't need to be sent back and forth, and a more stable solution because functions keep working even if the connection to the recorder is interrupted.
Motion detection
The camera can detect changes in the image by analyzing differences between frames over time. When something moves, the camera registers it as an event.
You can use this to automatically start recording, send alerts or trigger specific actions, for example having the camera turn toward the area where motion occurred.
Line crossing
You can draw a virtual line in the image for the camera to monitor. When a person or object crosses the line, it’s registered as an event.
You can choose the direction so the camera only reacts when someone enters or leaves an area, making the feature more precise and reducing false alarms.
Intrusion detection
The camera can monitor a specific area you mark in the image. If a person or object enters the area and remains there for a set time, it is registered as an event.
The feature analyzes both motion and duration, so short or random movements won’t necessarily trigger an alarm.
Entry and exit detection
The camera can detect when something moves into or out of a defined area by analyzing direction and movement in the image.
This can be used to track traffic through an area, for example at entrances, gates or access ways.
Left object
The camera can detect if an object is placed in an area and not moved again within a set time. It does this by comparing the image over time and spotting new objects that remain stationary.
This is typically used to detect abandoned bags, boxes or other items that may be relevant for security.
Removed object
The camera can also detect if an object suddenly disappears from an area. It does this by analyzing image changes and noticing that an object is no longer present.
This can be used to monitor equipment, goods or other valuables where it’s important to spot removals.
Face detection
The camera can detect faces in the image by analyzing shapes and movements that match human facial features. When a face is detected, it’s automatically marked.
The feature is used for documentation and incidents where identifying people in footage is relevant.
What’s handled in the camera, and what is the recorder used for?
All analytics and event detection are performed directly in the camera. The camera decides when an event has occurred.
The recorder is used for storage, viewing, searching and managing recordings and events. With a compatible recorder or VMS you get a complete overview and fast searching.
