The bracket can be used where plenum approval (UL 2043) is required. Plenum areas are typically cavities in buildings (such as ceilings or floors) where air flow occurs for heating and cooling. Therefore, there are strict requirements for materials used there. It complies with UL 2043 standards, which means it can be installed above ceilings in plenum areas where it meets fire safety requirements.
