Extra protection for outdoor dome cameras
Hikvision DS-1250ZJ is a rain shield that is mounted over a compatible dome camera. It helps protect the camera from direct rain and sunlight, so the camera’s front is less exposed to the weather.
Directs rainwater away from the camera
The rain shield is designed with a water-draining channel that helps prevent rainwater from running down over the camera housing.
This can reduce the amount of water on the camera’s front and at the same time lower the risk of ice forming in freezing weather.
Reduces direct sunlight
During outdoor surveillance, direct sunlight can affect image quality, especially when the sun is low.
The rain shield helps protect the camera from direct sunlight and can therefore improve image conditions in exposed installations.
Made from composite fiber
DS-1250ZJ is made from composite fiber material, combining low weight with good strength.
The rain shield weighs only 199 grams and is designed for outdoor use with wind resistance level 6.
Compatibility and installation
The rain shield fits selected Hikvision dome cameras. Under each individual camera and the Accessories tab, you can always see which brackets and accessories fit that specific camera.
The rain shield must be mounted on a flat wall. The wall must be able to support more than three times the total weight of the camera and accessories.
