Show the same HDMI signal on four screens
The splitter copies the signal from one HDMI source and sends it to four HDMI outputs. This makes it practical when the same camera view, presentation, or other video image needs to be visible in several places at the same time.
All connected screens receive the same signal. The splitter is therefore not used to extend the desktop or display four different images.
Great for video surveillance
An HDMI splitter can be used to display the image from a surveillance recorder on several screens at the same time.
For example, this could be an NVR or DVR with one HDMI output, where the same camera view is desired on multiple TVs or monitors.
4K at up to 60 Hz
The splitter supports resolutions up to 4096 × 2160 pixels at 60 Hz.
This makes it possible to pass on a 4K signal to compatible screens, when both the HDMI source, the cables, and the screens support the desired resolution.
Picture and sound through the same HDMI cable
The HDMI connection transfers both video and audio, so there is no need for separate cables for the audio signal.
The splitter supports, among other things, Dolby Digital and DTS from compatible equipment.
HDCP support
Both HDCP 1.4 and HDCP 2.2 are supported, so the splitter can work with compatible HDMI equipment and protected video content.
3D support
The splitter also supports 3D video signals when the source, screen, and other HDMI equipment support the format.
External power supply
The HDMI splitter uses an external power supply to distribute the HDMI signal to the four outputs.
Connection
The HDMI source is connected to the splitter’s HDMI input. After that, the desired screens are connected to the four HDMI outputs.
You can use from one to four outputs depending on how many screens should display the signal.
