4 MP AXIS dome camera with Deep Learning and 130° field of view

AXIS M3086-V combines a compact design with 4 MP resolution and a wide 2.4 mm lens. The camera is especially well suited for locations where you want to cover a large area with a single camera, while also gaining access to AXIS' AI-based video analytics.

AI detection of people and vehicles

With AXIS Object Analytics, the camera can detect and classify people and vehicles. Vehicles can be categorized into cars, buses, trucks, and bicycles, among others.

The analytics can be used for line crossing, object or motion detection in a specific area, dwell time, line counting, and detecting the number of objects in an area. The camera supports up to 10 analytics scenarios.

Very wide 130° field of view

The fixed 2.4 mm lens provides a 130° horizontal field of view and a 93° vertical field of view. This gives you a broad overview and makes the camera a great choice for stores, offices, entrances, reception areas, and other spaces where you want to monitor a large part of the room with one camera.

Lightfinder for low-light areas

AXIS Lightfinder helps the camera deliver color images even when there is only a little light in the area. The camera is rated at 0.19 lux in color and 0.03 lux in black and white under the specified measurement conditions.

This makes it easier to preserve color and detail as light levels drop.

WDR up to 120 dB

WDR helps the camera handle large differences between bright and dark areas in the same image. This can be useful at an entrance or a window, for example, where strong daylight comes in from outside while the area inside is darker.

AXIS M3086-V supports WDR up to 120 dB depending on the scene.

Variant with built-in microphone

AXIS M3086-V is available in a standard version and as AXIS M3086-V Mic. The Mic version has a built-in microphone that is disabled by default and can be activated as needed.

The Mic version also supports AXIS Audio Analytics, which can, among other things, detect sudden changes in sound level and classify sounds such as screams, shouts, breaking glass, and speech.

Supports SD cards

The camera supports microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC cards, so recordings can be stored directly in the camera. There is also the option to encrypt the SD card.

Recordings can also be stored on compatible network storage, such as a NAS.

Zipstream reduces storage needs

AXIS Zipstream works with H.264 and H.265 and reduces bandwidth and storage requirements while preserving relevant details in the video image.

This is especially beneficial for continuous video recording, where the camera would otherwise generate large amounts of data.

AXIS Live Privacy Shield

The camera supports AXIS Live Privacy Shield, which can be downloaded to the camera. The feature can be used for dynamic masking of areas and objects in the video image when extra privacy protection is needed.

AXIS Edge Vault

AXIS Edge Vault is the camera's hardware-based security platform. It protects, among other things, the camera's identity and cryptographic information and supports features such as Secure Boot, secure key storage, and Signed Video.

PoE makes installation easier

AXIS M3086-V supports PoE, so both power and network connection can be carried through the same network cable. The camera has a typical power consumption of 3.6 W and a maximum power consumption of 4.2 W.

For indoor use

The camera is IP42-rated and intended for installation under the specified indoor operating conditions. It is also IK08-rated against mechanical impact.

The operating temperature is from 0 °C to +45 °C.

Power over Ethernet

Do like the professionals. POE means that only one cable is needed for the camera. The camera gets power through the network cable, typically from a recorder with built-in PoE, or from a POE switch.
