Carry HDMI signal up to 120 meters through a network cable
With the HDMI extender kit, you can place the screen far away from the device that provides the image. Instead of running a very long HDMI cable, you use a standard CAT5e or CAT6 network cable between the transmitter and receiver.
This makes the kit ideal for, among other things, video surveillance, where the recorder is located in a technical room while the monitor needs to be placed somewhere else in the building.
Transmitter and receiver in the same package
The kit consists of both the HDMI-EX-120TX-V4 transmitter and the HDMI-EX-120RX-V4 receiver.
The transmitter is placed by your recorder, computer, or other HDMI source, while the receiver is placed by the screen or TV.
Up to 120 meters range
The HDMI signal can be transmitted over long distances through the network cable. With CAT5e, the range can be up to approximately 100 meters, while CAT6 can provide up to 120 meters.
This makes the installation suitable when a screen needs to be placed in reception, in an office, or another location far from the surveillance recorder itself.
Supports Full HD 1080p
The kit supports resolutions up to Full HD 1080p, so you can transfer a detailed HDMI image to the connected screen.
It is therefore a great fit for surveillance systems and other installations where you need to display a Full HD signal over a longer distance.
One network cable between the units
Only one network cable needs to be run between the transmitter and receiver.
This makes cable routing simpler and is especially practical in buildings where it is already possible to run CAT5e or CAT6 cable between the two locations.
