Compact AXIS PTZ camera with 5x optical zoom and Z-Wave

AXIS M5075-G measures just Ø130 × 63 mm, but it still offers motorized PTZ, optical zoom, and autofocus. This makes the camera well suited for indoor areas where you want the option to change the camera angle and zoom in as needed, rather than only having one fixed viewing angle.

PTZ function

The camera can pan up to ±179° and tilt up to 90°. The movement speed is up to 100° per second, so the camera can quickly be moved between different areas.

Up to 256 preset positions can be saved. This makes it possible, for example, to quickly move the camera to specific areas you want to check often.

5x optical zoom

The varifocal lens ranges from 2.2 to 11 mm and provides 5x optical zoom. With optical zoom, the camera changes the lens itself, so you can get closer to a person or object without simply enlarging pixels in the image.

The viewing angle can be changed from 71° to 14° horizontally. The camera also has 12x digital zoom and autofocus.

2 MP Full HD with up to 50/60 frames per second

The camera delivers video at up to 1920 × 1080 pixels. It also supports up to 50/60 frames per second, giving smoother rendering of people and other moving objects.

WDR in challenging lighting conditions

WDR helps preserve details when there are both bright and dark areas in the same image. This can be useful, for example, at an entrance or window, where strong daylight from outside might otherwise make parts of the image difficult to see.

Built-in microphone

AXIS M5075-G has a built-in microphone, so the camera can record sound from the area together with the video image.

The audio connection is one-way, so the camera does not have a built-in speaker for two-way communication.

Scream detection

The camera comes with AXIS Scream Detection, among other features. The function analyzes sound from the built-in microphone and can detect screams near the camera, so the event can be used to trigger an alarm or another action in the system.

The camera also includes standard motion detection, audio detection, tamper alarm, and AXIS Removed Object Detection.

Z-Wave for wireless devices

AXIS M5075-G has Z-Wave Plus and can communicate wirelessly with compatible Z-Wave devices. This can, for example, be used for simple on/off commands and other I/O functions without running extra cables to the camera.

The system setup supports up to 32 Z-Wave devices, of which up to six can be used through VMS.

Supports SD cards

The camera supports microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC cards, so video can be stored directly at the camera. The SD card can also be encrypted.

Recordings can also be saved on compatible network storage such as a NAS.

Zipstream reduces storage needs

AXIS Zipstream works with H.264 and H.265 and is designed to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements while preserving relevant details in the video image.

PoE makes installation easier

The camera supports PoE, so both power and network connection can run through the same network cable. Typical power consumption is 4.4 W, while maximum power consumption is 9.5 W.

For indoor use

AXIS M5075-G is a compact camera for indoor installation and has an IP51-rated enclosure. The camera can operate at temperatures from 0 °C to +45 °C.

Power over Ethernet
