Den professionelle måde at levere strøm, til et PoE-kamera, er gennem netværkskablet.
På den måde behøver man kun at trække et enkelt kabel til hvert kamera - og skal ikke døje med 230V og små strømforsyninger.
Strømmen til kameraet leveres gennem netværkskablet fra enten...
- en optager med indbygget PoE, også kaldet NVR. Et typisk valg for installationer op til og med 8 kameraer.
- en PoE-switch. Populært fortalt en fordelerdåse til netværkskabler. Det typiske valg på store installationer eller hvis man ønsker fleksibel kabelføring.
- en PoE-injector. Kan kun levere strøm til et kamera.
Af samme grund følger der ikke strømforsyning med PoE-kameraer. Du kan bestille en klassisk strømforsyning her, hvis du ikke ønsker at benytte PoE.
2MP PTZ camera with powerful zoom, designed for recessed installation
DS-2DF5225X-AE3(T5) is a professional PTZ camera made for areas where you need high image quality, long range and full pan/tilt control. With 25× optical zoom, strong low-light performance and fast panning speeds, it’s ideal for squares, large areas, roads, industrial sites and other places where the camera must cover long distances.
25× optical zoom
With 25x optical zoom you can zoom in on, for example, a license plate, a person at a long distance or details on a building. The camera uses the lens itself to get closer, so quality is maintained. It also has digital zoom to get even closer, but image quality will gradually degrade.
Movable camera (PTZ)
It can rotate 360 degrees, tilt up and down, and zoom in. You can set up preset tours where the camera automatically checks different zones throughout the day – e.g. parking lots, gates and walkways. It can also quickly move to specific positions on alarm or manually via mobile or PC.

DarkFighter – strong low-light performance
DarkFighter technology ensures sharp color images in low light and clean black-and-white recordings in near darkness.

Automatic and manual autotracking
The camera can automatically follow people or objects when they move into an area. You can choose how long it should track an object.

EIS – electronic image stabilization
EIS counteracts shakes from wind or vibrations.
This provides stable footage even when the camera is mounted high or exposed.
Optical defog – clearer image in fog and rain
The optical defog feature improves visibility in fog, rain, smoke and dust-filled environments

Face Capture – facial detection
The camera can detect, track and select faces in motion and save the best image. This is especially useful in environments where you want extra documentation or identification.
Does Face Capture require a special recorder?
The camera can detect and select faces on its own, but if you want to store faces in a structured way, search them or use advanced face functionality, you need a recorder that supports Face Capture.
The camera itself can:
- Detect faces in the image
- Select the best “snapshot”
- Send it to an app, recorder or NAS
- Trigger events (alarm, strobe, notification etc.)
A compatible recorder adds extra features:
If you use a Hikvision recorder with AcuSense or Face Recognition support, you get more out of the feature:
- Face searching
- Person filtering
- Database functions
- Event logs based on faces
- Faster performance in larger installations
If you DO NOT have the right recorder:
The camera will still capture and send face snapshots – but the system will not have:
- Face search
- Structuring in a database
- Advanced logs
Vehicle and traffic detection
The camera can:

- Record direction of movement
- Use zones to monitor traffic areas
This gives better alarm filtering in areas with vehicle traffic.
