PTZ camera for large areas and long distances

DS-2DF8C442IXG1-ELWY is made for monitoring large, open areas where a standard fixed camera quickly falls short. The camera can rotate all the way around, tilt up and down, and zoom in far on people, vehicles, and other details.

That makes this model ideal for places like industrial sites, harbors, roads, parking areas, larger squares, and other locations where the camera needs to monitor a large area from one position.

42x optical zoom

With 42x optical zoom, the camera can go from a wide overview to a much closer image of something that is far away.

It is the lens itself that zooms, giving you far better options for inspecting details at a distance than with ordinary digital magnification. The lens ranges from 6 to 252 mm.

Can rotate all the way around

The camera can rotate 360° and tilt from -20° to 90°. That means it can cover different directions from the same position instead of being locked to one specific view.

Up to 300 presets can be saved, and the camera can be set to automatically patrol between selected areas.

Sees far in the dark

The camera has built-in IR illumination with a range of up to 400 meters. This makes it possible to monitor very large areas even when no regular lighting is available.

DarkFighter 2.0 also helps the camera make the most of the available light when lighting conditions get poor.

Automatic tracking

Auto-tracking 3.0 makes it possible for the camera to automatically follow relevant targets as they move through the area. The camera can rotate and adjust its position along the way so the target stays in view.

This is especially useful in large areas, where a person or vehicle can quickly move out of the field of view on a standard fixed camera.

Detects people, faces, and vehicles

Power over Ethernet
