4 MP AXIS bullet camera with Deep Learning and wide viewing angle

AXIS M2036-LE delivers video in up to Quad HD 1440p/4 MP and has a 2.4 mm lens that can cover a large area. The camera’s built-in Deep Learning Processing Unit also makes it possible to analyse video directly in the camera.

AI detection of people and vehicles

With AXIS Object Analytics, the camera can detect and classify people and vehicles. Vehicles can be divided into cars, buses, trucks and bicycles, among other categories.

For example, you can use the analysis to detect when a person or vehicle crosses a specific line, moves into an area or stays in an area. The camera supports up to 10 analysis scenarios.

Very wide viewing angle of up to 130°

The fixed 2.4 mm lens provides a horizontal viewing angle of up to 130° at 4 MP in 16:9 format. This means the camera can cover a very wide area without needing to be placed far away.

That makes the camera a great fit for entrances, facades, courtyards and other places where you want a wide overview with just one camera.

Lightfinder for areas with low light

AXIS Lightfinder helps the camera deliver usable images when there is only a little light in the area. The camera can operate down to 0.18 lux in colour and 0.04 lux in black and white under the stated measuring conditions.

When there is no longer enough light, the camera can switch to night mode and use the built-in IR illumination.

OptimizedIR for surveillance in the dark

AXIS M2036-LE has built-in OptimizedIR with a range of 20 metres or more depending on the area and conditions.

The camera has automatic day/night functionality with a mechanical IR filter and can deliver images at 0 lux when the IR illumination is on.

WDR up to 115 dB

WDR helps the camera handle areas where there is a large difference between the bright and dark parts of the image. This can be the case at a gate or entrance, for example, where strong sunlight and shadow appear at the same time.

AXIS M2036-LE supports WDR up to 115 dB depending on the scene.

Supports SD cards

AXIS M2036-LE supports microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC cards, so recordings can be saved directly at the camera. The camera also supports SD card encryption.

Recordings can also be saved on compatible network storage, such as a NAS.

Zipstream reduces storage needs

AXIS Zipstream works with H.264 and H.265 and is designed to reduce the amount of data that needs to be sent and stored, while preserving important details in the video image.

This can be an advantage for longer recordings, where both network usage and hard drive space matter.

AXIS Edge Vault

The camera has AXIS Edge Vault, which protects the camera’s identity and helps ensure secure device authentication on the network. The camera includes Secure Boot, secure storage of encryption keys and Signed Video, among other features.

PoE makes installation easier

AXIS M2036-LE supports PoE, so both power and network connection can run through the same network cable. That means you do not need a separate power supply at the camera when it is connected to a compatible PoE switch or recorder.

Typical power consumption is 5 W, while maximum power consumption is 12.95 W.

For outdoor use

The camera is rated IP66 and IP67, and is therefore designed for outdoor installation. It is also rated IK08 against mechanical impact and NEMA 4X rated.

NEMA 4X means, among other things, that the enclosure has extra protection against corrosion. This can be an advantage in exposed environments, for example areas near the coast.

The camera can operate at temperatures from -30 °C to +50 °C.

Power over Ethernet
