2 MP AXIS turret camera with AI analytics and OptimizedIR

AXIS M3125-LVE delivers Full HD video at up to 1920 × 1080 pixels and features a built-in Deep Learning Processing Unit. The camera comes with AXIS Object Analytics, which can analyze the video image directly in the camera and detect different types of objects and events.

AI detection of people and vehicles

AXIS Object Analytics can detect, classify, track, and count people and vehicles. For vehicles, the camera can, among other things, distinguish between cars, buses, trucks, and bicycles.

The analytics can, for example, be used for line crossing, detection of objects in a specific area, dwell time, counting at a line, and motion detection in defined areas. The camera supports up to 10 analytics scenarios.

Wide 110° field of view

The fixed 2.9 mm lens provides a horizontal field of view of 110° and a vertical field of view of 60°. This gives you a wide overview and makes the camera well suited for entrances, façades, stores, storage areas, and other places where you want to cover a larger area.

Lightfinder for low-light areas

AXIS Lightfinder helps the camera deliver usable color images when there is only a little light in the area. The camera is specified for 0.15 lux in color and 0.03 lux in black and white under the specified test conditions.

When it gets completely dark, the camera’s built-in IR illumination can be used for continued surveillance.

OptimizedIR for surveillance in the dark

AXIS M3125-LVE has built-in OptimizedIR with a range of 20 meters or more depending on the area. With the IR illumination activated, the camera can record at 0 lux.

This means the camera does not depend on regular lighting to monitor the area at night.

WDR up to 110 dB

WDR helps the camera preserve details when there are both very bright and very dark areas in the same image. This can be the case at entrances, gates, and façades, where sunlight and shadows can create large differences in lighting.

AXIS M3125-LVE supports WDR up to 110 dB depending on the scene.

Up to 50/60 frames per second

The camera can deliver up to 50 or 60 frames per second depending on the power frequency. The high frame rate provides smoother video of motion and can be an advantage in areas with people or vehicles in motion.

How far can the camera see?

The DORI calculation indicates a detection distance of up to 40 meters. Observation is specified at 15.9 meters, recognition at 8 meters, and identification at 4 meters.

DORI refers to standardized distances based on the number of pixels on an object. The actual ability to recognize or identify a person or object depends, among other things, on movement, lighting, video compression, and the camera’s placement.

Supports SD cards

The camera supports microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC cards, so recordings can be stored directly at the camera. There is also the option to encrypt the SD card.

Recordings can also be stored on compatible network storage such as a NAS.

Zipstream reduces storage needs

AXIS Zipstream works with H.264 and H.265 and reduces the need for bandwidth and storage while preserving relevant details in the video image.

This is especially useful for continuous video recording, where the camera would otherwise generate large amounts of data.

AXIS Live Privacy Shield

AXIS M3125-LVE supports AXIS Live Privacy Shield, which can be downloaded to the camera. The function can be used to mask relevant parts of the video image when privacy protection is needed.

AXIS Edge Vault

AXIS Edge Vault is the camera’s hardware-based security platform. It protects, among other things, the camera’s identity and cryptographic data and supports Secure Boot, secure key storage, and Signed Video.

The camera’s secure element is also FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified for secure storage and handling of cryptographic keys.

PoE makes installation easier

AXIS M3125-LVE supports PoE, so both power and network connection can be run through the same network cable. The camera has a typical power consumption of 3.7 W and a maximum power consumption of 10.5 W.

For indoor and outdoor use

The camera is IP66-rated against dust and water and IK08-rated against mechanical impact. It is also NEMA 4X rated and can operate at temperatures from -30 °C to +50 °C.

Power over Ethernet
