IPC-HDW3649H-AS-PV-PRO is a robust metal turret/eyeball camera designed to operate reliably both indoors and outdoors. The camera is part of Dahua's WizSense series, which focuses on intelligent detection and user-friendly surveillance, making it easier to find the events that really matter.

The camera combines strong night imaging with intelligent features such as human and vehicle detection, smart light control, audio and the ability to respond with both light and sound. WizColor – better colors and more detail in low light

WizColor is Dahua's technology for improving image quality in low light. Instead of relying solely on infrared light, the camera uses a large, light-sensitive image sensor together with advanced image processing. That means the camera can often show colors even when there is very little ambient light.

In practice this gives a more detailed image where clothing colors, car colors and other important details are easier to see. At the same time, the need for strong lighting is reduced, giving a more discreet and natural surveillance image.

Smart Dual Light – infrared and warm light as needed

The camera is equipped with both infrared light and warm white light. This lets you adapt the night image to the situation. During quiet periods the camera can run on IR light, which is invisible to the human eye. When a relevant event occurs, the warm light can be activated to provide color images and clearer details.

The light can be controlled automatically or manually, depending on how the installation should operate.

SMD 4.0 – intelligent motion detection

SMD 4.0 (Smart Motion Detection) is designed to make motion alerts more useful. Instead of reacting to everything that moves in the image, the camera can distinguish between people, vehicles and uninteresting movements like animals, shadows, rain or moving branches.

That means fewer unnecessary alerts and a clearer timeline where it's easier to find the events that actually matter.

AcuPick – find people and vehicles in seconds

AcuPick is an intelligent search feature that makes it significantly faster to find relevant events in recordings. Instead of manually fast-forwarding through hours or days of video, AcuPick helps point out the clips most likely to contain a person or a vehicle.

When the camera is used with a compatible Dahua recorder, the system analyzes both live footage and recordings using AI. That means you can search directly for “person” or “vehicle” and have the most relevant clips shown first — rather than going through everything the camera has recorded.

In practice AcuPick is especially useful in busy areas, such as driveways, courtyards, warehouses or parking areas, where regular motion recording can quickly produce many irrelevant clips.

Light and siren as a response

The camera can be configured to react when a rule is broken — for example if someone enters an area outside normal hours. The response can be light, sound or a combination.

This can be used to make it clear the area is monitored or to attract attention in the situation. At the same time you can receive a notification on your phone with an image and access to the recording.

Audio and two-way talk

The camera has a built-in microphone and speaker, allowing both audio recording and direct speech through the camera. This can be used to communicate with people on site or simply to hear what is happening in the scene.

Two-way talk can be controlled directly from your mobile or PC via Dahua's software.

Local recording on microSD card

Mounting

The camera can be mounted directly on a wall or ceiling. If there is no room for cables behind the camera, a back box or junction box is recommended.
