4MP surveillance camera with motorized zoom

DH-IPC-HDW5442T-ZE is an advanced turret camera from Dahua's WizMind series. The camera is designed for installations where both high image quality and intelligent analytics are needed.

The motorized zoom makes installation more flexible, because you can adjust the viewing angle without having to open the camera again. That makes the camera suitable for businesses, shops, warehouses and outdoor surveillance.

Motorized zoom lens

The camera has a motorized varifocal lens from 2.7 mm to 12 mm. This means you can adjust the viewing angle directly from the recorder or via the app.
You can choose a wide angle to cover a larger area or zoom in to focus on a specific zone, for example an entrance or a gate.

Starlight night vision

Starlight technology makes the camera very sensitive to light. That means it can reveal more details in low-light areas.
It can be useful in courtyards, storage areas or parking lots where there is limited lighting in the evening.

IR illumination

The camera has built-in infrared illumination with up to 40 meters range. The IR light allows you to record clear images even in complete darkness.
That means surveillance works around the clock, whether there is lighting in the area or not.

People and vehicle detection

The camera uses advanced analytics to distinguish between people, vehicles and other motion. That makes it easier to focus on relevant events.
This results in fewer unnecessary alerts from, for example, animals, shadows or moving vegetation.

Perimeter protection

Perimeter features let you create rules like line crossing or intrusion into an area. When a rule is broken, the camera can register the event and save it as a relevant incident.

It's especially useful at driveways, gates, fences or other areas where you want extra control.

Face detection

The camera can detect faces in the image and save snapshots when a face is detected. The system can also analyze facial attributes such as age, glasses, mask or beard.
This can make it easier to find people in recordings if you later need to review an incident.

People counting

The camera also supports people counting. The feature can detect how many people enter or exit an area.
It can be used in shops, entrances or areas where you want an overview of visitor numbers and movement patterns.

Heat map

The heat map shows where most activity occurs in the image. The camera analyzes movement and highlights the areas with the highest concentration of people.
It gives a useful overview of how a space is used.

Wide Dynamic Range

With 140 dB WDR the camera can handle large differences between light and dark within the same image. This is especially important at entrances or places with strong sunlight.
The feature ensures that both bright and dark areas in the image are visible.

Built-in microphone

The camera has a built-in microphone, so you can record audio along with video. That can provide extra information in situations where sound is relevant.
Audio can also be played back in recordings or during live view.

ePoE long-distance network

ePoE allows you to send both power and data over longer distances than usual via the network cable. In some installations the signal can reach several hundred meters.
This makes it easier to install cameras across larger areas without extra network equipment.

SD card recording

The camera supports microSD cards up to 256 GB. This allows you to store recordings directly on the camera.
It can be used as primary storage in smaller installations or as backup if the connection to the recorder is lost.

Accessories

The camera can be mounted directly to a wall or ceiling. If cables can't be hidden behind the camera, a back box can make the installation neater and easier.

Power over Ethernet
