4 MP dome camera for indoor and outdoor use
DS-2CD2143G2-LIS2U is a modern dome camera with 4 MP resolution, intelligent video analytics and built-in audio recording. The camera is suitable for homes, shops, offices, warehouses, institutions and other places where you want high image quality combined with smart features.
AcuSense person and vehicle detection
The camera uses Hikvision’s AcuSense technology, which can distinguish between people, vehicles and other motion in the image.
This means the camera is better at ignoring motion from rain, leaves, shadows and small animals. You’ll therefore receive fewer irrelevant notifications and can more quickly find the events that actually matter.
Smart Hybrid Light with four night modes
The camera is equipped with both infrared light and white LED illumination.
You can choose between several night modes. The camera can record with the traditional black-and-white IR night image, show color images with white light, or automatically turn on the white light when people or vehicles are detected.
This lets you adapt surveillance to the environment and the desired image quality at night.
Built-in dual microphone
The camera has two built-in microphones, which provide better audio capture than traditional single microphones.
That makes it easier to pick up conversations and events around the camera while delivering more natural and clear audio recordings.
Up to 30 meters night illumination
The built-in illumination provides effective surveillance in dark environments.
The camera can illuminate areas up to approximately 30 meters, ensuring detailed recordings both day and night.
120 dB Wide Dynamic Range
WDR technology helps the camera handle large differences between bright and dark areas in the same image.
This is especially useful at entrances, gates, windows or areas with strong backlight, where details might otherwise be lost.
Advanced video analytics on the edge
The camera is an edge-intelligent device, which means analysis and event detection happen directly in the camera without the need for a powerful recorder.
That provides faster response times and reduces the load on the rest of the surveillance system.
Line crossing
With line crossing you can draw virtual lines in the image and get notified when people or vehicles cross them.
You can choose whether the event should trigger on crossing in a specific direction or both directions.
Area intrusion
You can mark areas that must not be entered or accessed.
The camera detects when people or vehicles move into the area and can send an alarm or start recording automatically.
Face detection
The camera supports face detection and can detect when faces appear in the image.
The feature can be used for faster searching in recordings and documenting events.
Supports SD card
The camera supports microSD cards up to 512 GB.
Recordings can be stored directly on the camera without using a recorder or used as extra backup together with an NVR.
IP67 and IK10 protection
The camera is built for both indoor and outdoor use.
IP67 protects against rain, dust and moisture, while the IK10 rating protects against impact and vandalism.
