Advanced people and vehicle detection

The camera uses a smart technology called "IVA Pro", which uses AI to detect and track people and vehicles.

• Accurate detection: The camera can recognize and track both people and vehicles. This means it can identify when someone enters an area, or if a car passes by.
• Fewer false alarms: Using AI, the camera can recognize patterns and avoid false alarms from things like rain, moving trees and bushes, snow, or shadows. Thanks to the AI analysis, false alarms are significantly reduced.
• Efficient monitoring: The camera can detect movement and automatically distinguish between different objects. This means it can keep track of where people and cars are moving and notify you.
• Smart alarm system: The camera can be programmed to trigger alarms based on specific rules. For example, it can notify you if a person enters a restricted area, or if a car parks somewhere it is not allowed. This makes it easier to monitor important areas without constantly having to watch the screen.

Data protection and security

• Multiple layers of security: The camera has several protection levels that work together to keep both the data and the camera itself safe from attacks and unauthorized access.
• Access protection: There are three levels of access protection, ensuring that only authorized people can change settings or view recordings. It is like having several locks on a door - only the right keys can open them.
• Encrypted data transfer: When data is sent from the camera to a computer or server, it is encrypted. This means the information is converted into a secret code that can only be read by those with the correct encryption key. This protects the data from being intercepted by hackers.
• Advanced certificate management: The camera uses digital certificates to confirm that it is safe to communicate with other devices. Think of certificates as digital ID cards that ensure the camera only talks to trusted devices and servers.

The camera supports one microSD card for local storage:

• MicroSDHC cards: Supports up to 32 GB.
• MicroSDXC cards: Supports up to 2 TB.

Motorized zoom and focus for setup

The camera has motorized zoom and focus, making it easy to adjust the viewing angle and sharpness during installation.

• Remote adjustment: When the camera is installed for the first time, you can adjust zoom and focus from a computer. This makes it easier to find the perfect viewing angle without having to adjust the camera manually.
• Precise adjustment: You can fine-tune the image to make sure it is sharp and covers the desired area.
• One-time adjustment: After the initial setup is complete, there is no need to adjust zoom and focus regularly. The camera stays in the set position and normally does not need any further adjustment unless your surveillance needs change.

Supported licenses

• IVA Pro Buildings License: This license activates advanced video analytics functions specifically designed for building surveillance. It includes features such as intrusion detection, tracking of people and vehicles, and unauthorized access detection.

With Bosch's free "Remote Portal", you get easy access from all your devices and can be sure that no one else is watching.
It is as simple as this:

1. Create an account on Bosch "Remote Portal".
2. Start the camera and go to the "Connectivity" tab.
3. Enter the email address and password you chose when creating your account on "Remote Portal".
4. Download the app on your phone or computer, log in, and enter the same email address and password.

So there is no need to open ports, remember IP addresses, etc. - just your email address and password.

The camera is equipped with a total of 16 different types of VCA (Video Content Analysis).

1. Object in field (object appears in an area)
2. Crossing line (an object crosses a line)
3. Loitering (staying in an area)
4. Condition change (change in conditions)

Standalone, closed Bosch system or part of third-party systems, the camera can do it all

Standalone unit with SD card: 

You can download all your recordings directly in the Bosch Security APP, completely free of charge and without removing the SD card from the camera. Don't worry - if the SD card wears out or gets damaged, the camera keeps an eye on that too. This solution works well and as easily as with a hard disk recorder.

Bosch NVR: 

If the camera is to be part of a larger integrated solution, it can also be connected to a Bosch hard disk recorder, DIVAR, or via ONVIF to a third-party manufacturer.

VMS platforms: 

If you use a VMS platform such as Milestone, Genetec, or another one, you can also add the camera via either Private protocol or ONVIF. To get the full benefit of the camera's metadata, you should check the list of supported cameras on your VMS platform.

NDAA Compliant

This product is allowed under the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act).
That means the equipment may even be used in installations for critical infrastructure in the USA.
