Great all-around switch for surveillance and general networking
This switch can be used for most things on the network. It requires no configuration — just plug it into power and connect a network cable to the camera, recorder, router, etc.
Plug 'n play - requires no configuration
Connect surveillance cameras, access points and other PoE devices directly to one of the 8 PoE ports. After a few seconds it will start supplying power to the device and this is indicated by a small LED for each port. About 60 seconds after the cable is connected, the device will have booted and can be found on the network.
Easily switch modes with a small button on the front
Default (Normal mode): All ports can communicate with each other.
VLAN (Secure mode): Downlink ports can only communicate with uplink ports.
Extend (Surveillance mode): Transmission distance up to 250 meters. Downlink ports can only communicate with uplink ports.
