Ajax WaterStop 1/2" (DN 15) Jeweller is a wireless water shutoff valve that helps limit water damage in homes and businesses. Together with an Ajax LeaksProtect or a compatible leak sensor, the valve can automatically shut off the water supply when water is detected.

1/2" water shutoff valve with automatic leak protection
The valve is suitable for installations where the water supply needs to be shut off quickly in the event of a leak. It can be used for both hot and cold water and, under normal conditions, shuts off the water in up to 7 seconds.
Automatically limits water damage
When a connected LeaksProtect detects water, the Ajax system can automatically send a command to WaterStop and close the valve. This makes it possible to react to a leak even when the building is empty or the residents are asleep.
Control the water supply from the Ajax app
The water can be opened and closed directly from the Ajax app. Here you can also see the valve’s current position, battery level, connection to the hub, and the status of any external power supply.
Automation as needed
WaterStop can be part of automation scenarios and, for example, shut off the water in the event of an alarm, at specific times, or when the alarm system is armed and disarmed. The valve can also be controlled based on temperature, humidity, CO2 level, or activation of compatible Ajax devices.
Works even during a power outage
The device comes with four CR123A batteries and can operate for up to three years without a fixed power connection. An external power supply can also be connected, with the batteries serving as backup.
Manual operation when needed
The valve can be opened and closed using the button on the motor unit. The mounting platform also has a handle that makes it possible to operate the valve manually when the motor unit has been removed.
Flexible installation and maintenance
The motor unit can be mounted in four different positions, so the installation can be adapted to the piping and the available space around the valve. The motor unit can be replaced or removed without taking the valve itself out of the piping system.
Protection against unauthorized removal
Both a standard lock and a tamper-resistant lock are included for securing the motor unit. The built-in tamper switch can send a notification if the unit is removed from its mounting.
Indoor installation only
Ajax WaterStop is designed for indoor use. The shutoff valve itself should be installed by a qualified plumbing professional.
