4K video decoder for professional surveillance solutions
DS-6901UDI(C) is designed for control rooms, security centers, industry, airports, logistics centers, and other installations where many camera images need to be displayed at the same time with high image quality.
4K HDMI output
The decoder supports Ultra HD resolution up to 3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz via HDMI 1.4.
The high resolution makes it possible to display detailed camera images on large screens or video walls, where the operator needs to monitor several areas at once.
Supports up to 16 video channels
DS-6901UDI(C) can decode up to 16 simultaneous video streams in 1080p or lower resolution in real time.
The decoder also supports higher resolutions with fewer simultaneous channels, including 8 MP, 12 MP, 24 MP, and up to 32 MP.
Compatible with H.265 and H.264
The decoder supports the most widely used video compression formats, including H.265, H.264, Smart265, Smart264, and MJPEG.
This ensures compatibility with both newer and older Hikvision cameras as well as a wide range of existing surveillance installations.
Video wall and flexible viewing
A single screen can be divided into multiple views with up to 16 camera images at the same time. The layout can be customized as needed with, among other options, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 12, or 16 windows.
Up to 64 different scenes and up to 100 view groups can be saved via Hikvision's HCP platform, so the operator can quickly switch between different camera views.
PTZ control directly from the video wall
When viewing compatible PTZ cameras, the operator can control the cameras' movements directly from the decoder.
This includes pan, tilt, zoom, focus, iris, autoscan, and preset recall.
Playback of recordings
The decoder supports both live view and playback of recordings from compatible Hikvision devices.
This makes it possible to quickly review incidents directly on the video wall without switching workstations.
Wide compatibility
DS-6901UDI(C) supports Hikvision network cameras, PanoVu cameras, fisheye cameras, DVRs, NVRs, XVRs, and ONVIF-compatible devices from other manufacturers.
It supports both IPv4 and IPv6 and can be integrated into existing surveillance systems via ONVIF, ISAPI, and Hikvision's SDK.
Stable operation and remote management
The decoder can be managed via web browser or PC client, where it is possible to configure the device, monitor system status, and perform firmware updates.
It also supports logging, user permissions, NTP time synchronization, and alarms for events such as network errors, temperature issues, or decoder failures.
