2 MP AXIS dome camera with Deep Learning and Lightfinder

AXIS M3085-V delivers Full HD video at up to 1920 × 1080 pixels and has a built-in Deep Learning Processing Unit. This makes it possible to analyze the video image directly in the camera and use features such as AXIS Object Analytics for automatic detection of relevant objects and events.

AI detection of people and vehicles

AXIS Object Analytics can detect and classify people and vehicles. Among vehicles, the camera can distinguish between cars, buses, trucks and bicycles.

The analysis can be used for line crossing, objects in a specific area, dwell time, counting at a line and detecting movement in defined areas. The camera supports up to 10 analytics scenarios.

102° field of view

The fixed 3.1 mm lens provides a horizontal field of view of 102° and a vertical field of view of 55°. This gives you a wide overview and makes the camera well suited for offices, stores, hallways, entrances and other indoor areas.

The lens is factory-focused, so there is no need for manual focusing during installation.

Lightfinder for low-light areas

AXIS Lightfinder helps the camera preserve colors and details when there is only a little light in the area. The camera is rated at 0.18 lux in color and 0.03 lux in black and white under the specified measurement conditions.

The camera has an automatic IR-cut filter and can automatically switch between day and night mode.

WDR up to 120 dB

WDR helps the camera show details in areas where there are both very bright and dark parts in the same image. This can be useful, for example, at an entrance or a window with strong daylight coming in from outside.

AXIS M3085-V supports WDR up to 120 dB depending on the scene.

How far can the camera see?

The DORI calculation indicates a detection distance of up to 45.6 meters. Observation is rated at 18.1 meters, recognition at 9.1 meters and identification at 4.6 meters.

DORI is based on standardized distances determined by the number of pixels on an object. The actual ability to recognize or identify people and objects depends on factors such as movement, lighting, video compression and the camera’s placement.

Supports SD cards

The camera supports microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC cards, so recordings can be stored directly on the camera. The SD card can also be encrypted.

Recordings can also be saved on compatible network storage such as a NAS.

Zipstream reduces storage needs

AXIS Zipstream works with H.264 and H.265 and is designed to reduce bandwidth and storage needs while preserving relevant details in the video image.

This is especially useful for long-term or continuous video recording, where data volumes can otherwise grow quickly.

AXIS Live Privacy Shield

AXIS M3085-V supports AXIS Live Privacy Shield, which can be downloaded to the camera. The feature can be used to mask relevant parts of the video image when privacy protection is needed.

AXIS Edge Vault

AXIS Edge Vault is the camera’s hardware-based security platform. It protects, among other things, the camera’s identity and cryptographic information and supports features such as Secure Boot, Signed OS, secure key storage and Signed Video.

PoE makes installation easier

The camera supports PoE, so both power and network connection can run through the same network cable. Typical power consumption is 3.6 W, while maximum power consumption is 4.2 W.

For indoor use

AXIS M3085-V is IP42-rated and intended for installation under the specified indoor operating conditions. The camera is also IK08-rated against mechanical impact.

Power over Ethernet
