På den måde behøver man kun at trække et enkelt kabel til hvert kamera - og skal ikke døje med 230V og små strømforsyninger.

Strømmen til kameraet leveres gennem netværkskablet fra enten...

  • en optager med indbygget PoE, også kaldet NVR. Et typisk valg for installationer op til og med 8 kameraer.
  • en PoE-switch. Populært fortalt en fordelerdåse til netværkskabler. Det typiske valg på store installationer eller hvis man ønsker fleksibel kabelføring.
  • en PoE-injector. Kan kun levere strøm til et kamera.

Af samme grund følger der ikke strømforsyning med PoE-kameraer. Du kan bestille en klassisk strømforsyning her, hvis du ikke ønsker at benytte PoE.

ColorVu and IR in one camera

With the new smart Hybrid technology, which is a development of their ColorVu, you now have the opportunity to get a razor-sharp color image at night, without the white lamp having to be on constantly.
The technology works by using two types of light and a smart mode that automatically switches between them to adapt to the situation.
Here's a simple explanation of how it works and what makes it smart:

 

Infrared Light (IR)

When it's completely dark: The camera turns on IR and makes a really nice black-and-white picture. The camera must have almost no auxiliary light to keep a color image without turning on the IR, but if it's totally dark it turns on the IR.

 

White Light

When colors are needed or it's not too dark: The camera turns on a white lamp, which makes it possible to get a razor-sharp color image that resembles a daytime image. That way you have fine details and much easier identification of people and vehicles.
The difference between a Hybrid and a ColorVu is that the ColorVu does not have the option to switch to IR if it gets too dark, so the white lamp must be switched on.

 

Smart Mode

Automatic switching : When it's too dark, the camera automatically uses infrared light to save energy and keep monitoring discreet and unobtrusive. Then when something important like movement happens, the camera quickly switches to the white light to create a detailed color image. It does this automatically and it is possible to define settings for when it should use which light.

 

That's why it's smart

The camera can automatically adjust to the different lighting conditions. This means that it always delivers the best image quality, regardless of whether it is completely dark or there is dim light.
When the camera uses IR, it uses less power and you sip for the white light to bother or attract attention. When the white light is switched on by movement, it can be used both as a source of illumination, but also as a deterrent to people entering your property unwantedly.

The Smart Hybrid Technology enables cameras to function and adapt effectively in all lighting conditions. Therefore, it can be used both indoors and outdoors and it can ensure detailed recordings.

 

Human and vehicle detection

The camera has a built-in analysis that can tell the difference between people and vehicles. You can therefore choose whether you want to play regular motion-triggered recordings, which can also contain trees and bushes swaying in the wind, or whether you want to see the recordings that only contain people and vehicles.
You can even choose how big or small the objects must be to be detected. This means you can define how close a target must be to be captured.

 

Built-in microphone

The built-in microphone can be used to record all sounds around the camera and also with the option of listening live here and now. It provides a very good opportunity to assess whether something is happening outside the camera's field of view, but also high investigative value, as you may be lucky to get accents or names on the recordings.
