The DS-2DE5425IW-AE is a PTZ camera, which means it can pan, tilt and zoom. That makes it ideal for large areas where you need both a wide overview and the ability to zoom in on details. The camera supports up to 300 presets, so you can program fixed positions or patrols that monitor the area automatically.
Powerful zoom
With 25× optical zoom and 16× digital zoom, the camera can track objects at long distance without losing detail. That’s a big advantage in, for example, parking lots, port areas or urban spaces where distances can be large.
Low-light performance
The camera is equipped with Hikvision's DarkFighter technology, designed to deliver color images even when light levels are very low. When it becomes completely dark, the powerful IR illumination takes over and provides very good black-and-white images at long range.
Smart features
The camera can distinguish between people and vehicles, helping you avoid false alarms from e.g. animals, moving branches or shadows. It also supports functions like line crossing, intrusion detection and face detection. These can be used to increase security around entrances, fences or other sensitive areas.
