På den måde behøver man kun at trække et enkelt kabel til hvert kamera - og skal ikke døje med 230V og små strømforsyninger.
Strømmen til kameraet leveres gennem netværkskablet fra enten...
- en optager med indbygget PoE, også kaldet NVR. Et typisk valg for installationer op til og med 8 kameraer.
- en PoE-switch. Populært fortalt en fordelerdåse til netværkskabler. Det typiske valg på store installationer eller hvis man ønsker fleksibel kabelføring.
- en PoE-injector. Kan kun levere strøm til et kamera.
Af samme grund følger der ikke strømforsyning med PoE-kameraer. Du kan bestille en klassisk strømforsyning her, hvis du ikke ønsker at benytte PoE.

PTZ movement function
The camera can rotate a full 360° and tilt up and down, so you can change the viewing angle as needed. It’s motorized, allowing you to move the camera precisely to the area you want to focus on.

Resolution often matters less on PTZ cameras than on fixed-lens cameras, because it’s the optics that bring the subject closer.
32x optical zoom
The camera has powerful optical zoom, where the lens moves physically to get closer to the subject. That means you can zoom in far without losing image quality.
It lets you follow people, vehicles or events at very long distances.
Human and vehicle filtering
The camera analyzes motion in the image and can distinguish between people and vehicles by recognizing shapes and movement patterns.
That means fewer unnecessary alarms and makes it easier for you to focus on the events that actually matter.
Smart events and analytics
The camera can detect events like line crossing, intrusion into areas, or movement in specific zones. You can set rules for what the camera should react to.
