DS-2DE7S425MW-AEB(F1)(S5) is an advanced PTZ camera that combines two image types in the same unit: a wide panorama view and a powerful PTZ view. You can choose how the camera should operate — either as single-channel, where it works like a classic PTZ camera, or as dual-channel, where you get both a fixed overview image and a detailed zoom image at the same time. The camera is designed for large areas where you need both an overview and the ability to quickly zoom in on incidents.

With 25× optical zoom, built-in IR, white light, ColorVu technology and intelligent classification of people and vehicles, the camera is suitable for driveways, large squares, parking areas, buildings, industry and other locations where surveillance needs to be extra precise.

The camera is ideal for places where you both need an overview and the ability to see details far away.

Dual channel or single channel – you choose

The camera can be used in two different ways, depending on how you want to work with the view.
In single channel mode the camera acts as a classic PTZ camera, where you only see the PTZ image. This is a good choice if you primarily want zoom, tracking and standard surveillance.
In dual channel mode you get two images at once. You see the panorama channel, which gives a wide overview and color images around the clock, and the PTZ channel, where you can zoom in and follow details.

This gives you the ability to keep the overview while focusing on what’s happening.

PTZ movement function

The camera can pan a full 360° and tilt up and down, so you can change the viewing angle as needed. It’s controlled by motors that let you move the camera precisely to the area you want to focus on.

You can save preset positions and have the camera automatically move between them to cover multiple areas.

25x optical zoom – see details at long distance

With 25x optical zoom the camera can zoom in far by changing the lens focal length. That means you can get closer to the subject without losing image quality.
This makes the camera suitable for locations where you need to monitor large surfaces while still being able to see details like people, vehicles or incidents at a distance.

Human and vehicle filtering

The camera analyzes motion in the image and can distinguish between people and vehicles by recognizing shapes and movement patterns.
That means you get fewer unnecessary alerts and can more easily focus on the incidents that really matter.

Smart events and analytics

The camera can detect events such as line crossing, intrusion into areas or motion in specific zones. You can set up rules for what the camera should react to.
The system continuously analyzes the image and reacts automatically when the defined conditions are met, so you quickly become aware of important situations.

Face detection

The camera can detect faces in the image and automatically select the best recordings. It does this by analyzing motion, direction and image quality.
This gives you better documentation in situations where people need to be identified.

Does Face Capture require a special recorder?

The camera can detect and select faces on its own. That means it can find faces in the image, pick the best snapshots and send them to an app, recorder or network storage.

If you want to work more structurally with faces, for example search through them or use more advanced features, you need a compatible recorder that supports Face Capture or face recognition.

With the right recorder you get access to features like face search, person filtering, database functions and more structured event logs.

If you don’t have a recorder with that functionality, the camera will still be able to detect and send snapshots, but you won’t get the more advanced search and log features.

IR night illumination up to 200 meters

The camera has powerful infrared lighting that makes it possible to monitor large areas in the dark. IR light is invisible but allows the camera to capture details at long distances.
That ensures you still have a usable image even when there is no light in the area.

Color images around the clock

The panorama part of the camera uses light-sensitive technology and built-in lighting so you can get color images 24/7.
That makes it easier to see details like clothing, colors and surroundings, even at night.

Good low-light performance

The camera is designed to work in low light, where the sensor captures more details and operates with very small amounts of light.
That means you can see colors and details further into dusk and darkness.

Light and sound on events

The camera has a built-in speaker and light that can be activated on specific events. That means the camera not only records but can also react.
You can set it to emit sound or flash the light to draw attention to the situation.

Built-in storage

The camera supports memory cards so you can store recordings directly on the camera. This provides extra security if the connection to a recorder or network is interrupted.
It can also be used as a supplement to a recorder.

Access from mobile and computer

You can access the camera via app or computer so you can always keep an eye on what’s happening. Here you can view live video, play back recordings and control the camera’s movement.
This gives you the flexibility to monitor your area no matter where you are.

Outdoor use

The camera is protected against water and dust and can be used both indoors and outdoors. It’s built to withstand normal weather conditions.
