4MP PTZ camera with 25× zoom and choice of single or dual view

DS-2DE7S425MW-AEB(F1)(S5) is an advanced PTZ camera that combines two image types in one unit: a wide panorama view and a powerful PTZ view. You can choose how the camera should operate — either as a single-channel, where it works like a classic PTZ camera, or as dual-channel, where you get both a fixed overview image and a detailed zoom image at the same time. The camera is designed for large areas where you need both an overview and the ability to quickly zoom in on incidents.

With 25× optical zoom, built-in IR, white light, ColorVu technology and intelligent classification of people and vehicles, the camera is well suited for driveways, large squares, parking areas, buildings, industrial sites and other locations where surveillance needs to be extra precise.

Dual-channel or single-channel – your choice

The camera can be used in two different ways:

Single-channel mode
The camera works as a classic PTZ camera. You only see the PTZ image — perfect if you primarily want zoom, tracking and traditional surveillance.

Dual-channel mode
The camera shows two images at the same time:

• Panorama channel – a wide view with ColorVu that delivers color images around the clock.
• PTZ channel – where you can zoom in 25× and follow details.

25× optical zoom - see details at long distances

With 25× optical zoom the camera can follow people, vehicles and incidents at long distances without compromising quality. That makes the camera ideal for areas where you need to monitor both large surfaces and small details, e.g. license plates, people or objects.

ColorVu – color images day and night (panorama part)

The fixed-focus panorama lens uses ColorVu technology to deliver color images around the clock. Even very low light levels produce clear colors, and if there is no light at all the camera activates visible white light, which both improves recordings and acts as a deterrent.

DarkFighter – strong night images on the PTZ lens

The motorized zoom lens uses DarkFighter technology to provide far better night vision with low noise and high detail. That delivers sharp images even when IR light is not active.

Up to 200 meters IR – long-range night surveillance

The camera has powerful IR illumination reaching up to 200 meters. That means even large areas can be monitored effectively in total darkness, without extra lighting installations.

Up to 30 meters white light – color and deterrent effect

There is built-in white light that can switch on during incidents. It does two things:

• Provides color recordings in situations where IR would otherwise be black-and-white
• Scares off intruders because the light is very visible at a distance

AcuSense – accurate detection of people and vehicles

The camera uses Deep Learning to distinguish between relevant events (people and cars) and irrelevant things such as animals, leaves, shadows or rain. That results in fewer false alarms and more accurate alerts.

Built-in speaker and strobe light – active deterrence

The camera includes both:

• White flashing light
• Built-in speaker

This makes it possible to warn people when the camera detects motion or an alarm trigger.

Face Capture – face detection

The camera can detect, track and select faces in motion and save the best image. This is especially useful in environments where you want extra documentation or identification.

Does Face Capture require a special recorder?

The camera can detect and select faces on its own, but if you want to store faces in a structured way, search them or use advanced facial features, you need a recorder that supports Face Capture.

The camera can on its own:

• Detect faces in the image
• Select the best “snapshot”
• Send it to an app, recorder or NAS
• Trigger events (alarm, strobe, notification, etc.)

A compatible recorder provides extra features:

If you use a Hikvision recorder with AcuSense or Face Recognition support, you get more out of the feature:

• Face search
• Filtering by person
• Database functions
• Event logs based on faces
• Faster operation in larger installations

If you DO NOT have the right recorder:

The camera will still capture and send face snapshots – but the system will not have:

• Face search
• Database structuring
• Advanced logs

Auto-tracking

The camera can automatically follow a person or vehicle moving through the area. Tracking can start automatically via detection or manually from the app/recorder.

Perimeter Protection – intelligent boundaries

The camera can monitor selected areas and trigger events for:

• Line crossing
• Intrusion
• Area leaving
• Zone monitoring

Combined with AcuSense this means alarms are only triggered when it is actually a person or a vehicle.

IP66 and IK10 Rated

The camera is built in a rugged metal housing and withstands:

• Heavy rain
• Dust
• Impact and vandalism
• Temperatures from –30 to +65°C
