The camera is equipped with a smart technology called "IVA-pro", which uses AI to detect and follow people and vehicles. 

• Precise detection: The camera can recognize and track both people and vehicles. This means it can identify when someone enters an area or if a car drives past.
  
• Fewer false alarms: With AI, the camera can recognize patterns and thus avoid false alarms from things like rain, snow, shadows, and moving trees and bushes. The AI analysis significantly reduces the number of false alarms.
  
• Effective surveillance: The camera can detect movement and automatically distinguish between different objects. This means it can keep track of where people and vehicles are moving and notify you.
• Smart alarm system: The camera can be programmed to trigger alarms according to certain rules. For example, it can notify you if a person enters a restricted area or if a car parks in a place where it is not allowed. This makes it easier to keep an eye on important areas without having to constantly monitor the screen.

Night vision with Starlight technology.

The camera uses Starlight technology to capture clear, detailed images, even in very dark conditions. Instead of traditional infrared (IR) night vision, which typically produces black-and-white images in the dark, Starlight technology can deliver color images in low light where a normal camera would switch to black-and-white.
When it gets completely dark, the camera turns on the IR light and the image becomes black and white.

Advantages of Starlight technology in the dark:

• Color images in low light : Starlight technology requires minimal light to produce a color image. So where a traditional camera goes black and white, a camera with Starlight keeps the color image for significantly longer.
  
• High sensitivity : The technology is light-sensitive, allowing it to see details that other cameras would lose in the dark.
• Clear images without glare : Even in challenging lighting conditions, such as bright lights and deep shadows in the same scene, Starlight technology ensures clear images without glare or distortion.
  
  

The difference between Starlight and Starlight X is the light sensitivity. Starlight technology can work in low light down to 0.0008 lux, while Starlight X can work all the way down to 0.0003 lux. This means that even in almost total darkness, Starlight X can still deliver a clear and detailed image.

Data protection and security.

• Multiple layers of security : The camera has multiple levels of protection that work together to protect both data and the camera itself from attacks and unauthorized access.
  
• Access Protection : There are three levels of access protection that ensure that only authorized people can change settings or access recordings. It can be compared to having multiple locks on a door – only the right keys can open them.
  
• Encrypted data transport : When data is transferred from the camera to a computer or server, it is encrypted. This means that the information is converted into a secret code that can only be read by those with the correct encryption key. This protects the data from being intercepted by hackers.
  
• Advanced Certificate Management : The camera uses digital certificates to verify that it is secure to communicate with other devices. Think of certificates as digital ID cards that ensure the camera only talks to trusted devices and servers.

The camera supports one micro SD card of up to 2TB.

• Micro SDHC card: Supports up to 32 GB.

Built-in microphone.

The camera allows you to experience what is happening, even without being physically present. The built-in microphone records all sounds around the camera and allows you to listen in live. This feature is particularly useful for assessing events outside the camera's field of view. In addition, this feature can be valuable for investigations, as the recordings can reveal accents or names, for example.

Motorized zoom and focus for setup.

The camera has motorized zoom and focus, making it easy to adjust the viewing angle and sharpness during installation.

• Remote Adjustment : When the camera is first installed, you can adjust the zoom and focus from a computer, making it easier to find the perfect viewing angle without having to manually adjust the camera.
• Precise adjustment : You can fine-tune the image to ensure it is sharp and covers the desired area.
• One-time adjustment : After the setup is complete, there is no need to adjust the zoom and focus regularly. The camera remains in the set position and usually does not need further adjustments unless the surveillance needs change.

Supported licenses:

The following licenses can be added to the camera and can generally be activated simultaneously.

• IVA Pro Buildings License: Enables advanced video analytics features specifically designed for building surveillance. This includes features such as intrusion detection, people and vehicle tracking, and unauthorized access detection.
  
• IVA Pro Perimeter License: Is intended for perimeter surveillance and protects boundaries by identifying and tracking people or vehicles crossing defined lines or entering recorded areas.
  
• IVA Pro Traffic License: Extends the camera's video analytics to traffic monitoring. It can be used to monitor road traffic, detect incidents such as queues or accidents, and analyze traffic patterns.

Easy access for YOU - no access for others.

With Bosch's free "Remote Portal", you are guaranteed easy access from all your devices and you can be sure that no one is watching.
It's that easy:

1. Create an account on Bosch's "Remote portal".
2. Start the camera and go to the "Connectivity" tab.
3. Enter the email and password you used when you created the account on "Remote portal".
4. Download the app on your phone or computer, log in, and enter the same email and code.

There is no need to open ports, remember IP addresses, etc. - you only need to remember your email and password.

A Bosch surveillance camera is packed with intelligent analysis.

The camera is equipped with 16 different types of VCA (Video Content Analysis).

1. Object in field (object appears in an area).
2. Crossing line (an object crosses a line).
3. Loitering (staying in an area).
4. Condition change.
5. Following router (object moves outside the specified route).
6. Tampering (attempted manipulation).
7. Removed object (object is removed from a specified position).
8. Idle object (an object is left behind).
9. Entering field (object moves into an area).
10. Leaving field (object leaves area).

Stand-alone, closed Bosch system or part of third-party systems, the camera can do it all.

Standalone device with SD card: The camera allows you to download all recordings directly to the Bosch Security app without having to remove the SD card from the camera. In addition, the camera monitors the condition of the SD card, so if it becomes worn or breaks, you will be informed. This solution works just as easily and efficiently as a hard disk recorder.

Bosch NVR: If you want a larger overall solution, the camera can be connected to a Bosch hard disk recorder, such as DIVAR, or to a third-party recorder via ONVIF.

Integration with VMS platforms: The camera can be added to VMS platforms such as Milestone, Genetec or other third-party solutions via Private Protocol or ONVIF. To fully benefit from the metadata from the camera, you should check the list of supported cameras on your VMS platform.

NDAA Compliant

The product here is permitted under the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act).
This means that the equipment may even be included in installations in critical infrastructure in the United States.
