Get two PoE connections from one network cable
POE-012W is practical if you have one PoE network cable run to an area, but want to connect two PoE devices.
The extender has one input and two outputs. This means you can run your existing PoE cable into the extender and from there connect, for example, two surveillance cameras.
This can help you avoid having to run two separate network cables all the way back to your PoE switch or recorder in many installations.
Extend the connection by up to 100 meters
A standard network cable can normally be used over a distance of up to 100 meters.
POE-012W also works as an extender and can carry the connection a further 100 meters. This allows for a total connection of up to 200 meters.
This can be useful, for example, on larger properties, warehouses, farms, and other places where the cameras are located far from the network equipment.
Does not require a separate power supply
You do not need a power outlet or separate power supply near the POE-012W.
The extender gets its power directly through the PoE network cable and passes both data and power on to the connected PoE devices.
Plug and play
POE-012W requires no programming or setup.
You connect the PoE connection to the input and your devices to the two outputs. The extender automatically detects compatible PoE devices and supplies them with power.
For outdoor installation
POE-012W is a waterproof PoE extender and can therefore be used in installations where the extender needs to be placed outdoors.
It can operate at temperatures from -20 °C to 60 °C.
