Ajax Doorprotect is designed to secure doors and windows

With Ajax DoorProtect you get a stable wireless sensor that detects when a door or window is opened. The sensor sends a message to the Hub and provides immediate notification to your phone if someone opens a door or window while the alarm is activated.

Set the alarm while you are at home

If you have installed magnetic contacts on doors and windows, you can create what is called a shell protection. This means that you can turn on the 'shell' without all sensors activating an alarm when movement is detected. This means that you can turn on the alarm at night so that it detects if a door or window is opened – without activating the motion sensors.

How does the sensor work?

DoorProtect consists of two parts : a sensor and a magnet. When the door or window is closed, the sensor detects the magnetic field. If the door or window is opened, the field is broken and the sensor sends an alarm to your Ajax hub.

• Use the large magnet (distance up to 2 cm) if you have a wider door frame
• Use the small magnet (distance up to 1 cm) if you want a closer fit

Easy to set up

DoorProtect is super easy to install. Scan the QR code in the Ajax app and place the sensor on a door or window.

Easy to configure

Once the sensor is installed, you can easily customize the functions directly in the app so that it reacts the way you want. For example, you can set a delay so that the alarm is only activated a few seconds after the door is opened - this gives you time to turn off the alarm when you get home.
You can also choose whether the sensor should always be active or only when the alarm is on. If the sensor detects an opening, you will be notified immediately via notifications, SMS or call, depending on the HUB and settings

Range

DoorProtect communicates wirelessly with the hub via Ajax Jeweller technology and has a range of up to 1,200 meters in open terrain.

Battery life

The sensor comes with a CR123A battery that can last up to 7 years, depending on usage and temperature. If it is located in very cold conditions or on a door that is used a lot, the battery will have a shorter life. It also depends on the quality of the battery.

Tamper protection

If someone tries to remove the sensor, it will immediately send a tamper alarm to the hub.
