Box camera from Bosch that can run either analog or IP.

The camera sees well in low light and can be used as an analog camera or an IP camera.

Advanced person and vehicle detection.

The camera uses the smart technology 'IVA Pro' , which allows it to detect and follow people and vehicles using AI.

  • Precise detection : The camera can recognize and track both people and vehicles. This means it can identify when someone enters an area or if a car drives past.
  • Fewer false alarms : The camera can use AI to recognize patterns and thus avoid false alarms from, for example, rain, snow, moving trees and bushes, or shadows. Using AI analysis, the frequency of false alarms is reduced.
  • Effective surveillance : The camera can detect motion and automatically distinguish between different objects. This means it can keep track of where people and cars are moving and notify you.
  • Smart alarm system: The camera can be programmed to trigger alarms according to certain rules. For example, it can notify you if a person enters a restricted area or if a car parks in a place where it is not allowed. This makes it easier to keep an eye on important areas without having to constantly look at the screen.

Night vision with Starlight X technology.

The camera uses Starlight X technology to capture clear, detailed images even in almost no light. Instead of traditional infrared (IR) night vision, which typically produces black-and-white images in the dark, Starlight X technology enables color images even in very low light. This means that even in near-total darkness, the camera can still see and record what’s happening in great detail.

Benefits of Starlight X technology in the dark:

  • Color images in low light : Unlike traditional IR nightvision, which only provides black-and-white images, Starlight X technology can provide color images, making it easier to recognize details and objects.
  • High sensitivity : The technology is very light-sensitive, making it possible to see details that other cameras would lose in the dark.
  • Clear images without glare : Even in challenging lighting conditions, such as when there are bright lights and deep shadows in the same scene, Starlight X technology ensures clear images without glare or distortion.

The difference between Starlight and Starlight X is the light sensitivity. Starlight technology can work in low light down to 0.0008 lux, while Starlight X can work down to 0.0003 lux. This means that even in almost complete darkness, it can still deliver a really good image.

Data protection and security.

  • Multiple layers of security : The camera has multiple levels of protection that work together to ensure that both the data and the camera itself are protected from attacks and unauthorized access.
  • Access Protection : There are three levels of access protection that ensure only authorized people can change settings or view recordings. It’s like having multiple locks on a door – only the right keys can open them.
  • Encrypted data transport : When data is sent from the camera to a computer or server, it is encrypted. This means that the information is converted into a secret code that can only be read by those who have the correct encryption key. This protects the data from being intercepted by hackers.
  • Advanced Certificate Management : The camera uses digital certificates to verify that it is secure to communicate with other devices. Certificates act as digital ID cards, ensuring that the camera only interacts with trusted devices and servers.
  • Protection against attacks : The camera is equipped with built-in security measures that protect it from malicious attacks. This prevents hackers from gaining control of the camera or stealing data.

Local storage.

The camera supports one micro SD card for local storage.

  • Micro SDHC card: Supports up to 32 GB.
  • Micro SDXC card: Supports up to 2TB.

Motorized focus for setup.

The camera has motorized focus, making it easy to adjust sharpness during installation.

  • Remote adjustment : When the camera is first installed, you can adjust the focus from a computer.
  • Precise adjustment : You can fine-tune the image to ensure it is sharp and covers the desired area.
  • One-time adjustment : Once setup is complete, there is no need to adjust the focus regularly. The camera remains in the set position and usually requires no further adjustment unless the surveillance needs change.

The camera can take sharp pictures of things that pass by quickly.

Because the camera can take 60 frames per second, it is possible to get really sharp images of things that pass by quickly, such as cars or bicycles in motion.

Hybrid function (IP and analog).

The camera supports both IP and analog video output, meaning it can be used in existing analog systems that can later be upgraded to IP technology without having to replace the cameras.

Supported special licenses that can be activated.

The following license can be added to the camera:

  • Camera trainer license : This feature allows the camera to learn to recognize specific objects or things that you choose. This can be anything from cars and people to specific objects. When enabled, the camera can detect these objects both when they are moving and when they are stationary. With Camera Trainer, the camera becomes more flexible and efficient because it can focus on the objects that are most important to you.

Easy access for YOU - no access for others.

With Bosch's free "Remote Portal", you are guaranteed easy access from all your devices and you can be sure that no one is watching.
It's that easy:

A Bosch surveillance camera is packed with intelligent analysis.

The camera is equipped with 16 different types of VCA (Video Content Analysis).

  1. Object in field (object appears in an area).
  2. Crossing line (an object crosses a line).
  3. Loitering (staying in an area).
  4. Condition change.
  5. Following router (object moves outside the specified route).
  6. Tampering (attempted manipulation).
  7. Removed object (object is removed from a specified position).
  8. Idle object (an object is left behind).
  9. Entering field (object moves into an area).
  10. Leaving field (object leaves area).
  11. Similarity search (objects appear similar).
  12. Crowd detection (objects gather in groups).
  13. Counter (counts how many objects cross a line).
  14. Occupancy (meat counter).
  15. Traffic incidents.
  16. Traffic wrong way (oncoming traffic).

All of these analyses are available in all Bosch surveillance cameras and help make Bosch one of the best and most widely used European surveillance cameras. You can see more about the possibilities with "Forensic Search" here:

Stand-alone, closed Bosch system or part of third-party systems, the camera can do it all.

Standalone unit with SD card : With an SD card installed, you can view all your recordings directly in the Bosch Security App - completely free of charge and without removing the card from the camera. The camera also monitors the condition of the card and warns you if it starts to wear out or become damaged. This solution is just as user-friendly as a traditional hard disk recorder.

Bosch NVR : If you need a larger overall solution, the camera can be connected either to a DIVAR hard disk recorder from Bosch or via ONVIF to a third-party manufacturer's equipment.

VMS platform : The camera can be integrated with VMS platforms such as Milestone, Genetec or other systems via either Private protocol or ONVIF. To get full access to the camera metadata, you should check the compatibility list of your chosen VMS platform.

Power over Ethernet

Do as the pros do. PoE means that only 1 cable needs to be run to the camera. The camera is powered through the network cable, typically from a recorder with built-in PoE, or from a PoE switch.

Power over Ethernet

Do like the professionals. POE means that only one cable is needed for the camera. The camera gets power through the network cable, typically from a recorder with built-in PoE, or from a POE switch.
