5MP turret camera with light, sound and smart detection of people and vehicles

IPC-HDW3549H-AS-PV-S4 is an intelligent turret camera from Dahua's WizSense series. The camera is designed for locations where you want both good image quality and the ability to respond actively to events with light, sound and notifications.

It’s well suited for driveways, courtyards, businesses, storage areas and private homes where you want to detect people or vehicles and be able to react directly from the camera.

5MP resolution

The camera records in 5 megapixel resolution, which gives a sharp and detailed image. That makes it easier to see what’s happening in the area and provides better options for zooming in on recordings later.

The resolution offers a good balance between detail and storage use, making this model suitable for both private and professional installations.

Smart dual light

The camera has both IR night light and white light. Normally the camera uses IR illumination, which produces a black-and-white night image without visible light in the area.

When the camera detects a person or a vehicle, it can switch on the built-in white light. This means the event is recorded in color while the light also helps signal that the area is being monitored.

When there’s no longer activity in the area, the white light turns off and the camera returns to IR night illumination.

SMD 4.0, smart motion detection

SMD 4.0 is Dahua’s advanced motion detection that analyzes movements in the image and helps filter out many irrelevant events.
The system can better distinguish between people, vehicles and other movements in the surroundings. That results in fewer unnecessary events and a more manageable list of recordings.

Human and vehicle detection

The camera can detect and distinguish between people and vehicles in the image. This makes monitoring more precise and helps you focus on the events that really matter.
In many situations this reduces false alarms from, for example, animals, shadows or environmental movements.

Perimeter protection

With perimeter features you can create virtual lines or areas where the camera detects if someone moves into the zone or crosses a set boundary.

Siren and warning lights

The camera can activate a built-in siren and flashing red and blue lights when an event is detected. This helps make it clear that the area is under surveillance.

Two-way audio

The camera has both a built-in microphone and a speaker. This makes it possible to hear sound from the area and to speak through the camera via the mobile app.

Power over Ethernet
