Clear color images - even in the dark
The DS-2CD2387G3-LI2UY is designed for surveillance in areas with limited lighting. ColorVu technology makes it possible to capture color images around the clock, so people, vehicles, and other important details appear more clearly than with traditional cameras.
The camera is also equipped with Smart Hybrid Light and NEMA 4X corrosion protection, making it suitable for both demanding outdoor installations and environments with moderate requirements for corrosion protection.
Smart Hybrid Light with three light modes
Smart Hybrid Light combines infrared light and white light with a range of up to 30 meters.
The camera supports three lighting modes, so it can use IR light, white light, or switch intelligently between the two depending on the selected configuration and the detected event.
ColorVu delivers color images in very low light
ColorVu technology uses a light-sensitive sensor and an F1.0 lens to capture more light. This allows the camera to deliver color images at a light sensitivity as low as 0.0005 lux.
ColorVu is the camera’s technology for color reproduction in low light and works independently of the camera’s intelligent analytics functions.
HikAI-ISP reduces image noise
The built-in HikAI-ISP image processing reduces noise in the image and helps preserve details in challenging lighting conditions.
The camera also supports 3D DNR, BLC, HLC, digital Defog, distortion correction, and electronic image stabilization.
Scene-adaptive 130 dB WDR
The scene-adaptive WDR function adjusts image processing to match the lighting conditions in the scene. This provides better visibility in areas with strong differences between dark and bright sections, such as entrances, windows, and gates.
AI classification of people and vehicles
The camera’s Deep Learning analytics can classify people and vehicles during motion detection, line crossing, area intrusion, area entry, and area exit.
This reduces false alarms from things like animals, rain, and moving vegetation, making it easier to focus on relevant events.
Face Capture
The camera supports Face Capture, which detects and captures images of faces. This is not the same as facial recognition, since the datasheet does not specify identification or comparison with a face database.
Built-in dual microphone
The DS-2CD2387G3-LI2UY has a built-in array-based dual microphone that records audio in mono. Environmental noise filtering helps improve audio capture in areas with background noise.
NEMA 4X corrosion protection
The camera has anti-corrosion protection according to NEMA 4X and is classified by Hikvision as offering moderate corrosion protection.
This makes the model suitable for environments with moderate requirements for protection against corrosion, including areas affected by moisture, acid rain, or coastal conditions approximately 2 km from the shoreline. Local storage and network functions
The camera has space for a microSD, microSDHC, or microSDXC card of up to 512 GB. It also supports network storage via NAS as well as ANR, which can transfer missing recordings to a compatible network recorder when the connection is restored.
