4 MP surveillance with motorized varifocal lens

The camera is equipped with a 1/3" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor and delivers a maximum resolution of 2688 × 1520. At 50 Hz, the camera can deliver up to 25 frames per second at full resolution.

The motorized 2.8-12 mm varifocal lens makes it possible to adapt the field of view to the area that needs to be monitored. The horizontal field of view can be adjusted from 102.4° at wide angle to 31.2° at telephoto.

Motorized zoom provides flexible monitoring

With the motorized lens, the camera’s focal length can be adjusted from 2.8 to 12 mm. This provides greater flexibility than a fixed lens and makes it possible to monitor either a wide area or zoom in on a more limited area farther away.

The DORI values range from 64 to 198 meters for detection and from 6.4 to 19.8 meters for identification depending on the selected focal length.

Smart Hybrid Light with IR and white light

Smart Hybrid Light integrates both IR light and white light and supports four supplementary light modes. This makes it possible to adapt the camera’s lighting to different surveillance situations.

The supplementary light has a range of up to 60 meters, while the IR illumination uses a wavelength of 850 nm.

AcuSense detects people and vehicles

AcuSense uses deep learning to classify people and vehicles. The function can be used together with motion detection and the camera’s perimeter protection, so events can be triggered based on specific target types.

Perimeter protection includes line crossing and intrusion detection with support for person and vehicle classification.

120 dB True WDR for challenging lighting conditions

120 dB True WDR helps the camera preserve details when very bright and dark areas appear in the same image. This is especially useful at gates, entrances, and other places with strong backlighting.

The camera also supports BLC, HLC, and 3D DNR for further image quality enhancement.

Dual microphone for audio recording

The built-in arrayed dual microphone makes it possible to record audio along with video. The camera also features environmental noise filtering, which helps reduce unwanted background noise.

There is also one line-in and one line-out for external audio equipment. The camera supports, among others, G.711, G.722.1, G.726, MP2L2, PCM, MP3, and AAC-LC.

Local storage of up to 512 GB

The camera has a built-in card slot for microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC cards with a capacity of up to 512 GB. Recordings can therefore be stored locally directly in the camera.

NAS is also supported via NFS and SMB/CIFS as well as Auto Network Replenishment (ANR). Together with compatible Hikvision memory cards, card encryption and memory card health monitoring are also supported.

Alarm connections and event handling

The camera has one alarm input and one alarm output for integration with external devices. When events are detected, the camera can, among other things, start recording, take snapshots, activate the alarm output, send email, or transfer material to FTP, NAS, or a memory card.

The camera also supports scene change detection and face detection as smart event functions.

Efficient H.265+ video compression

H.265+ reduces the required bitrate and storage space compared with less efficient compression methods. The camera’s main stream supports H.265, H.265+, H.264, and H.264+, while a sub-stream and, under certain settings, a third video stream can also be used.

Robust housing with IP67 and IK10

The camera housing is made of aluminum and is rated IP67 for protection against dust and water. The IK10 rating also provides protection against mechanical impact and vandalism.

The camera can be used at temperatures from -30 °C to 60 °C and at humidity levels up to 95% without condensation. The model has no specific corrosion protection.

Compatibility and integration

The camera supports ONVIF Profile S and G as well as ISAPI, SDK, and ISUP. It can be used together with Hikvision’s iVMS-4200, Hik-Connect, and Hik-Central.

Network connection is via 10/100 Mbit RJ45. Power can be supplied via 12 V DC or PoE through IEEE 802.3at Class 4.

For mounting, support is included for DS-1275ZJ-S-SUS and DS-1275ZJ-SUS for vertical pole mounting, DS-1260ZJ junction box, and DS-1276ZJ-SUS in combination with DS-1260ZJ for corner mounting.
