Complete ANPR license plate kit for short distance
The package is built around Uniview's 4 MP ANPR camera with 2.8-12 mm motorized zoom. The camera is designed specifically for license plate recognition and is a great fit for driveways, gates, parking facilities, and other places where vehicles pass relatively close to the camera.
The 2.8-12 mm version is recommended for a distance of approximately 3-10 meters. This distance is only a guideline, and the camera's placement, height, and angle also play a major role in ensuring reliable reading.
Automatic license plate recognition
The camera automatically reads license plates on passing vehicles and stores the registrations, so you can later search for specific cars and events.
It supports license plates from a wide range of countries, including Denmark, and can handle lists with up to 20,000 license plates.
Open the gate automatically
The license plate can be used as access for, for example, a business, parking area, or housing association. The camera has a built-in relay and can be configured to react differently to approved, blacklisted, and unknown license plates.
This makes it possible, for example, to open a gate or barrier automatically when an approved license plate is detected. The camera also supports Wiegand output for integration with compatible access control systems.
Detects more than just the license plate
The camera can also analyze vehicles and register information such as vehicle type, color, and in many cases the car brand. This gives you more options for later searching and documentation.
License plates day and night
The camera uses infrared light to read license plates in the dark. The IR light is invisible to drivers, making it a discreet solution for entrances and exits.
The focus is on accurate license plate reading. If you also want a more general night image of the car and surrounding area, the ANPR camera can be complemented with a regular surveillance camera.
IQ recorder for the license plate system
The package includes a Uniview NVR502-16B-IQ network recorder with capacity for up to 16 IP cameras. This makes it possible to expand the installation later with more surveillance cameras.
The IQ recorder works well with the ANPR camera and provides a single place for recordings and later search.
1 TB WD Purple hard drive
A 1 TB WD Purple hard drive is included for the recorder. The WD Purple series is developed for video surveillance and is used to store the camera's video recordings.
64 GB SD card for the camera
The package also includes a 64 GB Uniview PRO microSD card. The camera can store recordings and license plate events locally on the SD card and supports microSD cards up to 512 GB.
Managed PoE switch
The included Uniview Gigabit PoE switch has four PoE ports and two additional Gigabit ports. This means the camera can get both power and network connection through a single network cable.
The switch can be managed via web interface and cloud/app and offers, among other things, the option to view status and restart PoE equipment remotely.
