A complete solution for areas where rising temperature or abnormal heat development can be an early sign of faults or an emerging fire.
You can access the system from your mobile phone, your tablet - or your PC.
Thermal monitoring for fire prevention
A thermal camera can be used for more than standard video surveillance. It can keep an eye on the temperature in an area and respond to abnormal heat development before the problem is necessarily visible in a regular camera image.
This makes the solution interesting around, for example, EV chargers and charging areas, rack and server cabinets, technical rooms, electrical panels, and other electrical installations where abnormal heat should be detected as early as possible.
Get an alarm before the fire develops
An abnormal temperature increase can be an early sign that something is wrong. The thermal camera can continuously monitor the temperature and trigger an alarm when the set temperature limits are exceeded.
This makes it possible to respond to abnormal heat development before the situation develops into an actual fire. It is especially relevant for, for example, EV chargers, rack and server cabinets, electrical panels, and other electrical installations.
Can warn before a standard smoke detector
A standard smoke detector typically only reacts once smoke has developed. The thermal camera, on the other hand, can react to an abnormal temperature increase before smoke or visible flames necessarily appear.
It can therefore provide an earlier warning in cases such as overheating in an EV charger, a rack cabinet, an electrical panel, or other electrical equipment, so action can be taken before the situation develops further.
The thermal camera is a supplement to fire protection and must not replace an approved smoke detector or an approved fire alarm system where this is required.
Well suited for EV chargers and charging areas
At EV chargers and charging areas, the camera can monitor temperature changes in the area it covers. If the temperature exceeds the limits set in the camera, the system can respond with an alarm.
This makes it possible to detect abnormal heat development and investigate the cause before the situation potentially develops further.
Rack cabinets, server rooms and electrical installations
The solution can also be used for rack cabinets, server equipment, electrical panels, and other technical installations where components, power supplies, or connections may develop abnormal heat.
Here, the thermal image can be used to monitor temperature differences and hot spots that are not necessarily visible in a regular camera image.
Thermal and optical camera in one unit
The camera is bi-spectrum and has both a thermal sensor and a regular 4 MP camera.
The thermal part detects temperature differences and heat development, while the optical part provides a standard camera image of the area. This means you can both detect the event thermally and see what is actually happening around the installation.
Wide coverage at shorter distances
The thermal part has a 2.1 mm lens with a horizontal viewing angle of 88.8°. This provides a wide thermal overview and makes the camera well suited for areas where it is mounted relatively close to what needs to be monitored.
Temperature measurement and alarm limits
The camera can monitor temperature and react when the temperature moves outside the set limits.
This makes it possible to keep an eye on installations where an abnormal temperature increase may be a sign of overload, faults, or an emerging fire.
Local warning with light and sound
The camera has a built-in speaker as well as red and blue warning lights. It can therefore be configured to provide a visible and audible warning when an event is detected.
It also has a built-in microphone and speaker, so the camera can be used for audio communication as well.
Can be connected to other systems
The camera has 2 alarm inputs and 2 alarm outputs. This makes it possible to integrate with compatible external alarms, relays, sirens, or other control systems.
A thermal event can therefore be used for more than just sending a notification, depending on how the installation is configured.
NVR with 1 TB hard drive
This package includes a Uniview NVR502-16B-IQ network recorder and a 1 TB WD Purple hard drive. The camera’s video can therefore be recorded centrally on the NVR, giving you one place for monitoring and recordings.
The recorder supports up to 16 IP cameras, so the solution can later be expanded with more compatible cameras.
64 GB SD card in the camera
A 64 GB Uniview PRO microSD card is also included for local storage directly in the camera. The camera supports microSD cards up to 512 GB.
PoE switch included
The included Uniview Gigabit PoE switch provides both power and network connection to the camera through the network cable. This means the camera does not need a separate power supply at the mounting location.
40 minutes of online technician support
2 x 20 minutes of online technician support is included. Here, a technician can help with setting up the system, so temperature rules, alarms, and relevant functions can be configured for the installation.
Remember the network cable
The network cable between the camera and the PoE switch is not included and must be purchased separately. This lets you choose the cable length that suits the installation.
