High decoding capacity

The NVR502-32E-IX-G has high decoding capacity and, with Smart functions disabled, can handle up to 4 channels in 16 MP at 30 fps, 8 channels in 4K at 30 fps, or 32 channels in 1080p at 30 fps.

When the Smart functions are enabled, the recorder can, for example, decode up to 2 channels in 16 MP, 4 channels in 4K, or 16 channels in 1080p at 30 fps.

Flexible viewing with HDMI and VGA

The recorder has 2 HDMI and 2 VGA outputs. HDMI1/VGA1 and HDMI2/VGA2 can work as two independent outputs, making it possible to display different images and camera views on separate screens.

HDMI supports resolutions up to 4K (3840 × 2160) at 30 Hz, while VGA supports up to 1920 × 1080 at 60 Hz.

Intelligent functions directly in the NVR

The NVR502-32E-IX-G can carry out a range of intelligent analyses itself, so the functions don’t necessarily need to be built into the camera. The recorder supports, among other things, face detection, face comparison, Smart Intrusion Prevention, behavior analysis, elevator entrance detection, and people counting.

Smart Intrusion Prevention via the NVR is supported on up to 16 channels with standard cameras.

Advanced behavior analysis

The recorder supports a wide range of analysis types that can be used for more specialized surveillance tasks. These include detecting missing helmets, workwear or chef hats, as well as smoking, mobile phone use, falls, fights, climbing, loitering, crowds, and fast movement.

This makes it possible to use video surveillance actively for security, control, and monitoring specific events.

Video Metadata on up to 16 channels

Video Metadata can be used on up to 16 channels. The function can extract and register various attributes from people, vehicles, and non-motorized vehicles.

For motor vehicles, the system can register vehicle type, color, make, direction, and license plate type and color. For people, it can register gender, age, mask, hairstyle, bag, direction, and the color and length of clothing.

Faster searching through large amounts of video

Instead of relying only on manual review of recordings, you can use a range of intelligent search functions. The recorder supports searching by face images, vehicles, non-motorized vehicles, and people, as well as general search, people counting reports, AcuSearch, and Search by text.

Search by text is supported on up to 16 channels with compatible third-party cameras and up to 32 channels with UNV SIP/UMD cameras.

Large capacity for intelligent recordings

The recorder can store up to 2 million records from face snapshots, as well as up to 2 million records from behavior analysis and Smart Intrusion Prevention. In addition, up to 5 image libraries for vehicles can be created, with a total of up to 25,000 vehicle images.

ANR adds extra security during network outages

ANR technology helps increase storage security if the network connection is interrupted. It reduces the risk of missing video data during temporary network issues when used together with supported equipment.

Space for 2 hard drives

The NVR has 2 SATA interfaces and supports hard drives with a capacity of up to 16 TB per HDD. This allows for a total installed capacity of up to 32 TB, depending on the hard drives used and the operating conditions.

Disk groups and redundant storage are also supported.

Network and external connections

The recorder has 2 auto-adaptive RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and supports up to 192 Mbps incoming and 192 Mbps outgoing bandwidth. Up to 32 users can be added, and the system supports up to 128 remote users.

In addition, you get, among other things, 1 USB 2.0 port on the front, 2 USB 3.0 ports on the back, RS485, RS232, 16 alarm inputs, 4 alarm outputs, and RCA audio input and output. External USB keyboards are also supported.

Alarm and system monitoring

The NVR can handle a wide range of common video alarms such as motion detection, tampering, video loss, audio detection, people detection, scene change, defocus, and detection of abandoned or removed objects.

At the same time, the system can detect operating issues such as IP conflicts, lost network connection, offline or faulty hard drives, low disk space, full hard drives, and recording or snapshot errors.
