Dahua 16-channel hybrid recorder for video surveillance supporting both analog and IP cameras, with intelligent analysis features.

A digital video recorder (DVR) is used to record and store video from your surveillance cameras. The cameras send video to the recorder, where the footage is saved to a hard drive.

You can view live feeds and play back recordings directly from the recorder on a connected monitor. You can also access the system from your mobile or computer via the internet, so you can monitor the cameras no matter where you are.

Hybrid recorder for multiple camera types

The Dahua XVR5216AN-I3 is a hybrid recorder that works with multiple types of surveillance cameras. It supports both traditional analog cameras and IP cameras over the network.
That makes it a good choice if you already have an analog surveillance system and later want to expand with IP cameras.

 

Supports up to 16 cameras

The recorder has 16 inputs for analog cameras. In addition, the system can be expanded with up to 8 IP cameras over the network.
This gives you the option to build a surveillance system with up to 24 cameras in total.

 

Supports multiple camera formats

The recorder supports several different camera formats, including HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP cameras.
The system can automatically detect the camera type, making installation easier.

 

SMD Plus - intelligent motion detection

SMD Plus analyzes motion in the video and can distinguish between people, vehicles and other types of movement.
This makes it easier to find times when people or cars were in the area, while also reducing many false alarms from things like rain, leaves or changes in lighting.

 

Perimeter protection

Perimeter protection is used to detect events in specific areas of the image.
For example, it can notify you if someone crosses a line or enters a defined zone. The feature helps reduce false alarms from general motion in the scene.

 

Face recognition

The recorder can detect faces in the video and save them to a database.
The system can analyze facial features and store information such as age, gender, glasses and face mask. This makes it possible to search for specific people in the recordings.

 

AI search in recordings

The recorder supports intelligent searching in recordings. The system can analyze the video and help you find people or events in the footage.
This makes it easier to locate relevant clips without manually watching hours of video.

 

Storage on hard drives

The recorder has space for two hard drives to store video recordings.
The drives store footage from the cameras so you can playback and review events later. When the drives fill up, the system automatically overwrites the oldest recordings.

 

Monitor connections

The recorder has HDMI and VGA outputs so you can connect a monitor directly to the system.
